Design Awards by Singapore’s President Tony Tan Keng Yam. The
award is given to Singaporean or PR whose architecture designs are
outstanding as judged by a powerful panel of 14 members whose names
are known globally.
Among these 3 winners, Mr Siew Man Kok who co-founded MKPL
Architects had been in the limelight recently for 2 high-profile projects.
One of the two is the much talked about Bidadari Estate Master Plan that
was launched in 2012. This area’s natural lush landscape is fused into the
Housing Board estate which will see residents dwelling in the midst of
Bidadari’s heritage and large greenery. Spanning 93ha, this estate will
