• Wikidata is NOT an academic resource
• When the storage and the curation of data is
increasingly handled at Wikidata, Dbpedia could
concentrate on the research of the data and best
practices
6. WIKIDATA AND DBPEDIA
• There are plenty of opportunities for a Dbpedia
approach of Wikidata
• Wikidata will start to reach out to external sources
and the comparison and curation will happen in
both directions
• Please do your research and share the results in
Wikidata. It is how your data gets used
