SCOPE

This GBHE Engineering Guide provides information to assist in preparing an
estimate for the cost of single stage, integrally geared, turbo-blowers. The data
contained is based on analysis of past purchases for projects and offers by
vendors.

This Engineering Guide applies to all lubricated air compressors.

Obtain Basic Cost from Fig 1
The basic cost is for a single stage, integrally geared blower operating
beyond the limit of an arduous duty fan and constructed in standard
materials of construction, i.e. cast or fabricated steel casing, forged steel
welded impellor, steel shaft running in plain bearings.

  • 3. 1 SCOPE This GBHE Engineering Guide provides information to assist in preparing an estimate for the cost of single stage, integrally geared, turbo-blowers. The data contained is based on analysis of past purchases for projects and offers by vendors. 2 COST ESTIMATE This Engineering Guide applies to all lubricated air compressors. 2.1 Calculate 2.2 Obtain Basic Cost from Fig 1 The basic cost is for a single stage, integrally geared blower operating beyond the limit of an arduous duty fan and constructed in standard materials of construction, i.e. cast or fabricated steel casing, forged steel welded impellor, steel shaft running in plain bearings.
