1. About Us
In The Beginning
Stark Transportation has been in operation since 1995. The company started out offered pigging hot shot services in the pipeline industry. Gerald Stark and his Father
joined efforts in 2008 and in 2012, father and son merged their two companies into
one. The new company, Stark Transportation and Pipeline Services (Stark), offered
pigging equipment delivery and related pipeline pigging services.

and the right vision.
Today
Beginning in January 2014, the Bowie, Texas location will allow Stark Transportation
needs and expand their services. This expansion will position them for aggressive

growth in 2014. Stark will be providing regional support to Barnett Shale, Permian
Basin and Anadarko Basin in Northern Texas and Oklahoma. The Barnett Shale natural

In addition to the Bowie location, Stark Transportation will be moving its Houston
headquarters to a new building in Waller, Texas conveniently located off of Hwy 290.
Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2014. The new facility will be on 15 acres
of property, allowing room for equipment storage and more space to expand their oil
and gas services.

4. Pig Launching
Pigging in the maintenance of pipelines refers to the practice of using Pipeline InspecPigs are used to clean the pipes as a result of corrosion problems including pitting and

country. Differences in terrain can create challenging conditions for our client to
maintain the pipelines. It is essential that the condition and location of these distribuprovide the most accurate data possible so the client can complete the job safely.
At Stark Transportation and Pipeline Services, we own all of our own cranes and we
employ our own crane operators. With eight Knuckleboom cranes and two Straight
