Expertise
Over the years, I have tested a variety of applications that range from standalone, ERP, to CRM that run on PC & Mac (Apple)
platforms; web & e-commerce applications; distributed applications such as Google Download server; devices such as various
printers; mobile devices such as Blackberry, iPad, and the iPhone; various technologies, communication methods such as VPN, DSL,
etc. and protocols such as Telephony, Flash Technology, Cart Merchandise, PCI, HIPAA to name a few to find functional, design, and
GUI defects/issues. I have also participated and lead efforts in Process Improvement regarding Software Quality Assurance and the
Software Testing efforts of a project.
While my years of experience are in the Quality Assurance/Software Testing arenas, I utilized project management skills to keep the
testing effort of a project on schedule. I defined the scope of the testing effort; provide list of tasks with timelines; coordinated efforts
with the development team for defect resolution; in constant communication with PM and Development Teams in house and off shore
by providing status of the Testing Effort via Reports, emails, and IM (instant messaging); and assisted with the facilitation of UAT.

Contractual Projects over the last 2 years
May 2013 to Present
This is an Insurance Risk Management company that utilizes technology for their brokers to track
placements from the quoting to binding process as well as their processes to generate certificates
and Auto ID Cards. In these projects I assist with the testing of the integration of their legacy
billing system with the placement web application and the certification process where I write the
test strategy, test plans, test cases, and defects. I also incorporate continuous improvement
measures by creating matrixes, checklists for key business features to make the test suite during
system & regression stages more streamline, and concise. By providing weekly status reports of
the progress of the testing effort, management is equipped to make informed decisions for
upcoming builds & releases that are to be deployed to the various environments in QA, UAT, or
Production. Utilize Quality Center for documenting and linking test cases, with requirements &
defects. Utilize the tool Sprinter to document regression runs & to reproduce the steps of
Requirements & Enhancements that have issues with the latest build in the testing environment.
January 2014 to June 2014
This is a technology company that streamlines chart completion, billing, and exchange of clinical
documents for hospitals & physician offices using digital health solutions. With this client, I test
the functionality of the company’s dictation software on mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad,
and the Android which includes the transfer of voice files from the mobile device to the portal;
and data files from the portal to the device.
June 2011 – April 2013
This is a Health Coaching Management web based application for the portal and mobile devices
that allows members to take health assessments to determine how to manage their health based
upon questions in areas such as health, nutrition, physical activity, family health history, to name
a few, that allows members to set goals, participate in coaching activities, take self-directed
courses, and earn incentives toward a healthier lifestyle. Working in an agile development
lifecycle, my role is on the portfolio team that tests new features, fixed issues from backlog, and
technical debt for the product as well as incorporate process improvements for the QA effort of
the project throughout the lifecycle. Used JIRA as a tool to outline our QA Tasks and entered
issues during the testing phase. I utilized Quality Center v10 and later ALM for our repository of
Test Cases. I worked with QA Director to assist new hires in getting acclimated to the processes
of the QA department. I document processes and procedures as well as push builds out to the QA
environment.
March 2011 – May 2011
This was an IV&V project that evaluated the current state assessment of the Air Force’s Quality
Management System regarding the AF-IPPS project (Air Force Integrated Personnel and Pay
System) to ensure the PMO (Project Management Office) could support an ERP (Enterprise
Resource Planning) system implementation. In my role here, I documented the current process
and compared it with Quality standards, processes, and procedures used in the corporate industry
and made recommendations
