project as Offshore Technology Architect responsible for the end to end solution structuring within the project.
01 Project – iCAP (Infosys Claim Advantage Platform)
iCAP enhances the clinical processing of claims by performing clinical auditing. iCAP provides a portfolio
of clinical edits that serve to identify discrepancies in the clinical codes submitted on a claim. Business
rules can be uploaded and configured to support the Code-to-Code edits, Maximum Units/Medically-
Unlikely edits, Add-on Code edits as per the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) National
Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI). iCAP is built to handle high volumes of claims, each with multiple claim
lines and to support bulk auditing. It can also interface with other claims systems like QNXT/Facets to
supply audited claims, with each clinical error discovered in iCAP appearing as an Edit in QNXT/Facets.

02 Project – Dashboard Ticket tracking system
Dashboard is the one stop web site to track the support tickets logged in to the Client System and to
monitor the progress of the resolution. The Solution was build entirely in ASP.NET MVC 5 the data gets
pushed real time using SQL server jobs. The reporting system is build using jQuery Charts to provide
accurate representation of the ticket status. AngularJS was also integrated to support the onboarding
process of the support executives

(SIP).Delivery Team may undertake code changes. However, these code changes go through a
completely different process from a project development lifecycle.CRD Team will be the gatekeeper of
code modifications that are not related to project

02 Project – Ameriprise Pricing
The project aims at determining the Quarterly Maintenance fee for Custodial and Non-Qualified Accounts
and posts the fee onto BETA and PHASE3 platforms. The project provides various types of exemptions
and waivers for both PHASE 3 and BETA accounts. In Pricing, various systems like BMF, COLA, ETL and
PHASE 3 (major impacted systems) are involved to calculate the quarterly maintenance fee.
Responsibilities
1. Joined the project at a critical phase, quickly scaled up to learn about the existing system.
2. Work with Business and SEI to document Business requirements accurately.
3. As the primary Tech Lead, worked through the critical phase of Requirements Gathering and
Analysis to identify the Tech impacts broken down at system level.
4. Work with Project Architect to devise a successful design which was ideal from both business
solution perspectives as well as within the stipulated timeframe/cost.

After series of changes performed by different projects on Retail loan system regression testing is required

testing.REXX modules for batch testing.

05 Project –Standard Charted China Bank Mainframe Rehosting to microfocus
Due to regulatory requirement pertaining to china.The entire banks application(around 450 batch and
online) present in mainframe was rehosted to microfocus on Linux platform. This was one of the major
rehosting project for the bank involving parallel testing in both mainframe and microfocus.
Responsibilities
1. As one of the primary technical lead for the project brought in several automation to ensure
smooth code movement and testing from mainframe to microfocus.
2. Identified and documented the features supported in microfocus,accordingly devised REXX tools
to do bulk modification of code in mainframe and windows.
3. Quickly scaled up to learn about the micorfocus in linux environment.Analysed and devised ways
to do code compilation, debugging and testing in Linux environment.
4. Tackled several challenges like VB file import,COMP-3 variable display without the aid of file aid
NDM connection set up in Linux platform

06 Project – Order Entry Platform for annuity transactions
This project aims to incorporate a third-party order-entry platform for annuity transactions. Design and
develop new batch processes to support New account setup, Account Maintenance, Account closure etc.
using the data captured through the above app. A new batch feed to the third party to support the User
access control also needs to be developed
Responsibilities
1. Analyze the requirements and create the HLD to create a new batch feed to Annuity Net. This
feed contains the User information and their role hierarchy. It is the backbone of the User access
control.
2. Design various tables based on DB2 to hold the User information and their hierarchy.
3. Design the new batch flow based on JCL/Cobol that receives the feeds from various systems and
updates the tables. Extract the data from the tables and create the feed to Annuity Net based on
Business rules.
4. Create Low level design document.
5. Allocate tasks to team members and ensure timely completion. Review the various deliverables
such as Code, Support document etc.
6. Provide the support for SIT and UAT.
7. Create detailed Implementation playbook to share with various cross commits and vendors.

07 Project – In House Fee Calculation engine
The project aims at the development of the in-house fee calculation engine for SPS products which is
currently being outsourced to a vendor. Various functionalities like Fee calculation in arrears, alternate fee
billing and Online screen updates etc. are also included as part of this work. Various new tables based on
DB2 are developed to hold Account and Transaction level information. Batch stream based on JCL/Cobol
components are developed to perform the daily processing. Existing online screens based on CICS are
also enhanced to handle new features.
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for design and development of the Fee engine system.
2. Analyze the requirements and create the High level design for the Fee engine.
3. Design the new batch flow based on JCL/Cobol for Fee calculation. The new flow receives the
Transaction and Account level information in the form of files and processes it to calculate the
various fees associated for SPS accounts.

5. Design new modules using COBOL to access the data in DB2 tables and calculate fees based on
Business logic.

01 Project - Clearing and Settlement provider
Client through its subsidiaries, provides clearing, settlement and information services for equities,
corporate and municipal bonds, government and mortgage-backed securities, money market instruments
and over-the-counter derivatives.
This project aims at development of backend modules for a loan servicing application. The backend
modules are designed as external stored procedures. The reconciliation system is a web based system
that helps agents and lenders of Syndicated loans to reconcile their positions on a daily basis via web
interface. This helps in automating the process of reconcilement. This helps avoid problems like cash
breaks between Lender and Agents. .
Responsibilities
1. Responsible to create stored proc modules and perform end-to-end testing in co-ordination with
front end development team.
2. Create External Stored procedures using COBOL language to be used by front end applications
based on Distributed application.
3. Provide support for Integration and UAT testing. Implement the components and provide warranty
support.

02 Project - SHARK Broker Control project – TA
To comply with SEC Rule, Transfer Agent vendor of Ameriprise had to split the region on their side to
maintain different types of Mutual Fund Accounts.
Responsibilities
1. Tech Lead for a 3 member team at offshore working through all the phases of project from
Requirements Analysis till Post Implementation validation.
2. More than 50 Mainframe interfaces between Ameriprise and TA had to be analyzed and modified
directing to the appropriate region.
3. Conducted Training sessions and Knowledge Transfer sessions for the team to bring them
onboard and up to speed.
4. Supported the Testing team through the entire testing phase right from Test Strategies till the test
case execution.
5. Provided round the clock support during Implementation weekend for a seamless installation.
6. Reviewed all the artifacts and deliverables from offshore like the System Requirements,
HLD/DLD, Code review and Implementation Plan.

03 Project – Fund Proxies and Fund Merger
Under performing mutual funds were decided to be merged with better performing ones, so that clients can
be benefitted with their investments.
6. Responsibilities
1. Both Fund Proxy and Fund Merger were Tech heavy projects with more than 50
Pacbase/COBOL programs to be analyzed and modified per the requirements.
2. Part of a 3 member team having 20 modules assigned for the analysis and modification.
3. Testing was very complicated because of the restriction on number of funds that can be used and
limitation of the testing region.
4. Implementation challenging because of the volume of accounts in some of the funds which meant
batch SLAs not to be impacted for business operations.
