6. Why With the way that artist glorify gang life and other crimes, it’s no wonder that young people today act on what they hear in the music they listen to

7. What We Can Do By looking at why hip hop has such a huge impact, we can try to counter that impact with something more positive. Things like after school programs are a huge help in keeping kids safe and out of gangs.

8. Moving Forward As time goes on and new artists emerge, hip hop is starting to gain a more positive light and more positive spin. This can be credited to artists such as:  Ne-Yo  Lupe Fiasco

9. A Brighter Tomorrow Positive example will make for a brighter and more positive future for youth all around so if artists deliver a more positive message, we can hope that we would see a more positive world
