4. What I wanted to study
Bachelor of Education with Science but I ended up
doing Bachelor of Education with Arts.
I wanted to change to study Geography but ended up
doing Mathematics with Computer Science as a
minor.
Later whilst working I wanted to do a Masters in
Mathematics Education (Full time) but I ended up
doing an MBA (Distance Learning).
Currently I am doing a Masters in Education (ICTs in
Education).

2005-to-date Senior Vocational Education and Training Officer in
Ministry of Education, Science, Vocational Training and

2007-to-date Supervisor for MBA Dissertation students for Management
College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA)

6. Technical and Vocational
Education and Training
TVET is often seen as "last choice education“. High-quality
TVET, on the other hand, leads to a higher status and
improved attractiveness of TVETA Career in TVET - Gabriel S Konayuma 6

7. Training in TVET is for:
School drop-outs.
People without formal education, including illiterate
people.
Entrepreneurs and employees (including formal and
informal apprentices) in both formal and informal
enterprises who require skills upgrading and access to
recognized qualifications.
Unemployed people who need initial TVET or retraining
to support their reintegration into the labour market.
People with special constraints to properly engage in
economic participation, such as people with disabilities,
people from marginalized groups and other groups that
have been marginalized in the labour market.
