The Problem:

   A simple equation…
   If little Johnny has 2 hours of French per
   week and is expected to complete a 30
   minute homework task, by how much is his
   learning time reduced if he fails to complete
   his homework?
The Solution…
• All homework tasks are uploaded
  onto department Frogsites
• Support and Extension materials are
  provided
• Parents/carers able to access
  homework tasks and parent drop-in
  sessions arranged
• QR codes have been generated to
  take pupils directly to relevant areas
The Impact
• Teaching time maximised
• Reduced homework ‘chasing’
• Homework can be made more relevant and
  inform next step learning
• The use of QR codes has generated a
  homework buzz
• Homework detentions have been
  dramatically reduced
• Happy students and happy teachers make
  a productive learning environment!

  • 2. Achieving Results in (and out) of the classsroom … The Problem: A simple equation… If little Johnny has 2 hours of French per week and is expected to complete a 30 minute homework task, by how much is his learning time reduced if he fails to complete his homework?
  • 3. The Solution… • All homework tasks are uploaded onto department Frogsites • Support and Extension materials are provided • Parents/carers able to access homework tasks and parent drop-in sessions arranged • QR codes have been generated to take pupils directly to relevant areas
  • 4. The Impact • Teaching time maximised • Reduced homework ‘chasing’ • Homework can be made more relevant and inform next step learning • The use of QR codes has generated a homework buzz • Homework detentions have been dramatically reduced • Happy students and happy teachers make a productive learning environment!
  • 5. And the Frog keeps leaping… • Frog access for Y6 pupils in order to facilitate transition and maximise learning opportunites • A one-stop shop – GCSEPod, I am Learning use a single Frog sign-in • Self-study homework site created for those seeking out further challenges
