Subject: Recommendation for Fred Valese
The decision to write this recommendation was easy, as I witnessed first-hand the high level of selling
skills and managerial skills Fred possesses. When I had to fill the northern New Jersey territory I needed
someone who could acclimate quickly and build consensus immediately within the territory, as we were a
start-up and revenue generation was critically important. Fred accepted the challenge when he signed on
and his impact was felt within a short period of time, as he became a top producer within the New
England District.
You know when you have hired a quality candidate when there is "positive" name recognition, within the
offices and industry peers alike. Fred’s reputation for work ethic and technical skill sets was equaled by
his ability to perform on a high level and in an ethical way. Of course Fred’s performance resulted in a
promotion to District Manager of the New York / Northern New Jersey district when we expanded from 6
regions to 15 districts.
I understand that the ideal situation for Fred would be one where he is challenged out of the gate, as that
would allow him to showcase his skills and contribute to the company on a greater level, making his team
/ district an instant profit center.
It is easy to manage a team when you have outstanding players and with that I hope I have the
opportunity to work with Fred again in the future.
