This Candidate has already successfully achieved significant results as Chief Commercial Officer, COO and
General Manager in one of the absolute leading management consultancies in the world.
As the Commercial Officer he had the responsibility of a sales budget of €100M and in this role he managed
to implement large organizational changes in the sales and marketing organization while also implementing
new commercial excellence processes and a CRM system across Europe and the US. All of this delivered 1
better customer focus, improved pipeline management, higher proposal win-rates, larger average order
sizes, and higher and more profitable sales.
As Chief Operating Officer in the European organization the Candidate had the overall responsibility for all
consultants, the delivery of client projects, and sales & marketing. In this role he implemented a series of
programs across functions and countries that resulted in a significant improvement in European profitability,
forecast accuracy, utilization rates, and customer loyalty. He also co-lead the international expansion to the
Middle-East and Finland and prepared for further expansion to Russia and China. The Candidate has also
spearheaded the development of new service offerings like Rapid Cash Release and the company’s verticals
like Private Equity and M&A. A growth strategy that was based on organic growth as well as acquisitions.
The Candidate has throughout his career worked in and with international companies and has had
international roles and responsibilities. During this time the candidate has lived in England, France, Belgium

Assignments
The Candidate has on many occasions led large and substantial strategic analyses for both local and global
industrial companies. He has experiences with almost all types of improvement projects across the value
chain and this has been achieved in many industries and countries. Typically the Candidate has led the work
on developing new business strategies, analyzing and quantifying improvement potentials, designing the
implementation plans, and in some cases led the execution of these. From these assignments he has
developed strong project management skills and has always delivered on the promised results on time, on
budget and to the satisfaction of his clients.
As responsible for the Sales, Marketing, and/or supply chain in your organization, the Candidate will be
passionate about assignments and responsibilities where he will deeply involved with the development and
implementation of business strategies and in further developing the commercial strategies and focus. He will
also be highly motivated by direct customer contact and relationship development as well as being
responsible for an organization or team that he can build to its full potential.
The Candidate has delivered many types of assignments for clients with one example being for one of the
largest steel roll companies in the world, where the financial performance had dropped to a loss making
level. A thorough analysis of the entire value chain exposed a critical lack of collaboration between sales and 2
production and highlighted a number of bottlenecks and cash release opportunities from large finished goods
inventories and backlog of orders. The Candidate and his team of consultants worked with a task force from
the client’s side to implement the changes in the supply chain and in just 11 months they had delivered a
total cost reduction of 11% while increasing production-capacity with 25% with no CAPEX investments
across its factories in France, Sweden and the USA.
Another example is from one of the largest food companies in Scandinavia. With more than three thousand
SKUs the company lacked a robust product portfolio strategy and execution plan. In addition the company
had for many years been unable to lift its EBIT above its 10% target level. The Candidate analyzed and
developed plans to improve the product portfolio processes and also found significant improvement
opportunities in the supply chain and the organizational structures. The subsequent project was very
successful and the company realized bottom-line improvements of more than 80M DKK, which lifted their
EBIT from 7% to 12%.
Finally, the candidate has delivered a project for one of the world’s largest industrial companies in their
transportation division. With revenues of €5bn in 43 countries, the assignment was to A) improve their tender
and project management processes to increase sales, and B) to identify cost saving opportunities of more
than 200m in production, maintenance, R&D etc. As planned, the client subsequently implemented the
changes themselves very successfully.

The Candidate has a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Business and Economics (Cand.Merc.) from
Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor and Masters Degree in psychology from the University of
Copenhagen. Both degrees have been taken simultaneously which underlines the energy, tenacity, overview
and analytical ability that the Candidate possesses. During his studies for his Masters Degree in Economics
and Business he was awarded the premier exchange position at the MBA program at the J.L.Kellogg
Graduate School of Management in Chicago (at that time voted the #1 MBA school in the world by Business
Week). In addition to these degrees the Candidate has further developed his theoretical skills and toolbox
from various executive education programs within strategy and leadership at Harvard, Stanford and INSEAD
business schools. It is fair to say that this candidate is highly educated with a strong ability to turn theory into
practice. He speaks Danish and English as mother tongue and can also speak French, German and the
other Scandinavian languages.

The candidate has many years of leadership experience – already from he was in his late 20s where he was
given the responsibility to lead the development and execution of analyses and presentations to many of the
company’s most important clients. At the age of 30 he was given the responsibility to rapidly growth the
Nordic Region as the General Manager and these responsibilities have grown over the years to a level
where he has been in charge of leading an organization of more than 300 professional consultants across

people responsibility. He sets himself and his organizations ambitious targets and realizes them in a
