2. Effects of the
victim
Increasing feelings of
loneliness and sadness
Depression and
anxiety(more than the
chemical imbalance)
Changing of sleep and
eating patterns
These issues can continue
into adulthood
Health issues
These are things that a
person being bullied may
experience
3. The 3 we
want to talk
about
These 3 things that
bullying can attribute
to are almost
completely irreversible.
Self-harm
Eating Disorders
Bulimia Nervosa
(with/without
anorexic tendencies)
Anorexia Nervosa
(with/without
bulimic tendencies)
Even suicide…..
4. Effects of
bystanders of
bullying
Increased feelings of
helplessness and
anger/frustration
Secrecy
Irritability
Withdrawal
Overprotective
Lack of trust
Things that the people
around the bullying
experience
5. Suicide
Statistics for
Youth
How often someone feels so alone
and in so much pain that they
feel like suicide is the only
answer, the only way out
Suicide is the SECOND
leading cause of death for
ages 10-24.
More teenagers and young adults
die from suicide than from
cancer, heart disease, AIDS,
birth defects, stroke, pneumonia,
influenza, and chronic lung
disease, COMBINED.

7. Sam
By: Kat Cole
I love you & I miss you Sam.
There isn’t a day that goes by
that i don’t think about you. -
Kat
Sam was 13 years old
He was really funny &
sweet & very
handsome.
He was also bi-sexual,
people bullied him for
that & other reasons.
He hung himself in his
room

9. Amber Cornwell
By: Faith & Kat
We miss you Amber.
Amber Cornwell was 16.
She was sweet and
beautiful.
She hung herself and her
father found her.
She left a note saying why
and bullying was the
cause.
It still affects us and her
family to this day

11. Toby
By: Faith
I love you Toby and I miss you
so much. I will never forget you.
You still owe me that trip to the
cliffs.-
Faith
P.S.- I still hope you answer my
calls and texts
Toby was 15
He was awesome and
always knew what to
say
He overdosed, cut himself
& then hung himself
because of bullying.
His 10 year old sister
found him and will
never forget that
12.
13. These teenagers were loved & will never come
back. Kat is never going to get another text
from Sam, Faith is never going to see Toby
again, and Breanna will never get to talk to her
sister again. So please, please, please, watch
what you say. Don’t judge people because
they’re different or they don’t believe in what
you do. Jokes about self harm & suicide aren’t
funny, seriously! Don’t go out of your way to
hurt someone else. Please stand up for someone
if you see them being bullied...
Before it’s too late.
14. Eating
Disorders
If you bully someone about their
weight, it could lead to eating
disorders.
Anorexia Nervosa - Low weight,
fear of gaining weight, a strong
desire to be thin and food restriction.
Weigh themselves frequently. Some
will exercise excessively, force
themselves to vomit, or use laxatives
to produce weight loss.
Bulimia Nervosa - Mostly affects
young woman of normal weight,
characterized by frequent episodes of
excessive food intake followed by
self-induced vomiting to avoid
weight gain.
15. Self Harm
Self harm is when someone
harms themselves in anyway on
purpose. For example: cutting
yourself, biting yourself, hitting
yourself, burning yourself, etc.
Depression leads to self harm. When
someone self harms they usually try
to hide it. People make jokes about
self harm & it's really not funny!
Sometimes people get help for self
harming by going to therapy or
mental hospitals (no, that doesn’t
mean they’re crazy.) self harm can
be addicting & dangerous.
I choose not to add pictures because they’re
disturbing & triggering to some
-Kat
16. When people make jokes about self
harm & suicide, think about the
people listening to them, if they’re
someone who has self harmed or has
a loved one who has committed
suicide your so called ‘joke’ will
trigger a flashback to that time in
there life and they might relapse &
start self harming again or become
upset & it will ALL be YOUR fault!
So don’t make jokes about these
kind of things…
❖ DO NOT: ask someone if
they cut/self harm unless
you’re actually interested in
helping the person. Some
people ask it just to spread
the word that you self harm,
and that’s not good.
❖ DO NOT: draw lines on your
skin and pretend you cut
yourself, that's a joke, & it’s
not funny.
❖ DO NOT: tell someone to go
cut themselves some more
or go die or something really
mean like that…
