3. ELECTRONICS
The branch of science/physics which deals with the
study of electricity and electrical devices is called
Electronics.
The branch of science/physics which deals with the
transistors ,capacitors , conductors and insulators
etc.
In which we study about the controlling of electric
currents. (i.e to stop, to flow, to maximize or to
minimize a current).
In which we deals about the electric circuits.
In which we study about the flow of electrons.

4. ELECTRONICS
The electronics deals with the Diodes, PN Junction,
Rectifier, Bridge Rectifier, accumulator and AC and
DC circuits.
The field of electronics was invented in 1883.

5. ELECTRICITY
Electricity is the flow of electrons in a specific media
is known as Electricity.
The electricity flows through atoms . Atoms is every
material which is made up of electrons, proton and
neutron.
The electron and proton hold the atoms together. i.e
positive and negative charge hold the atom.

7. CONDUCTORS
The device/material used for moving/flowing of
electrons is known as conductor.
In conductors the electron freely move from one
atom to another.
We can also call that those device/material in which
electricity /electric current pass through it is called
conductor.
EXAMPLES:
Copper, silver, gold etc.

9. SEMI-CONDUCTOR
A device/material which having dual functionality is
called semi-conductor.
A semi conductor is a device which having quality
of both conductors and insulators.
A semi-conductor can conduct/pass less than
conductor and more than that of insulators.
A semi-conductor devices are basically used for
transiting /resistance.

10. SEMI-CONDUCTOR
The semi-conductor have four electrons in outer
orbit. Two electrons used for less conducting and
two are used for insulating.
EXAMPLES:
Carbon (C ): Carbon is a good semi-conductor.
Germanium (G): Germanium is also semi-
conductor.
Silicon (Si): Physically all transistor are made of
silicon and silicon is a semi conductor.

11. TYPES OF SEMI-CONDUCTOR
There are two types of semi-conductors:
1)INTRINSIC Semi-conductor:
A semi-conductor
used for conducting/flowing of electricity, heat and
sounds is known as intrinsic semi-conductor.
2)EXTRENSIC Semi-conductor:
A semi-conductor
device used for insulating/resisting of electricity,
Heat and sound is known as extrinsic semi-
conductor.

13. INSULATOR
A device/material which can not allow free
movement of electrons is called Insulators.
The electric current/electricity can not pass through
it.
In insulators there are electrons but only stay in
orbits and can not move freely.
An insulators can hold or store electricity but can
not conduct/pass electric current /electricity.
Preparedby:FAZLIKHALIQ
14. INSULATOR
Insulator is used for stopping/prevent of electric
current/electricity.
Capacitor is an insulator.
Capacitor: Capacitor is a device which store
electric charge and good insulators. Capacitor is
used for breakdown of current and voltage.
EXAMPLES:
Rubber, Glass ,Plastic, Paper and Air etc.
