with Ontario educators, EQAO continues to develop
assessments that gauge the achievement of all Ontario
                                                                        PERCENTAGE OF ALL STUDENTS AT OR ABOVE THE
students against the learning expectations outlined in The              PROVINCIAL STANDARD (LEVELS 3 AND 4), 2008–2009
Ontario Curriculum. These assessments ensure that every

However, it should be remembered that EQAO’s assessment

That’s why, in close collaboration with Ontario educators, EQAO continues to develop assessments that gauge the achievement of all Ontario PERCENTAGE OF ALL STUDENTS AT OR ABOVE THE students against the learning expectations outlined in The PROVINCIAL STANDARD (LEVELS 3 AND 4), 2008–2009 Ontario Curriculum. These assessments ensure that every student in Ontario’s publicly funded school system is Grade 3 assessed using the same yard stick at key stages in his or her Reading Writing Mathematics schooling. These results should be considered in conjunction with school-based information, such as that from classroom assessments.
