  4. 3. SOIL EROSION •This is the removal of soil, sediment, and rock fragments from the landscape.
  5. 4. OIL SPILL •This is the release of a liquid petroleum to the environment, most often the ocean.
  6. 5. CORAL REEF DEGRADATION •It is the use of explosives or cyanide to poison the reefs and destroy the corals.
  7. 6. ILLEGAL MINING •It is the use of heavy equipment to dig and extract gold from ore.
  8. 7. CLIMATE CHANGE •This is one of the greatest challenges for humanity in the 20th century.

  14. DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (DOH) •Is the principal health agency in the Philippines. •It is responsible for ensuring access to basic public health services to all Filipinos.
  15. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (DepEd) •Reviews the school curriculum, subjects, topics, and programs on community health.
  16. PHILIPPINE MEDICAL ASSOCIATION (PMA) •Is the country’s primary medical association that covers medical practitioners and groups.
  17. PHILIPPINE NATIONAL RED CROSS (PNRC) •Provides major services: blood services, disaster management, safety services, community health and nursing, social services, and Red Cross Youth.
  18. DEPARTMENT OF AFRIGULTURE (DA) •Promotes agricultural development by providing framework, public investments, and support services for domestic and export-oriented business enterprises.
  19. DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES (DENR) •Governs and supervises the exploration, development, utilization and conservation of the country’s natural resources.
  20. DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DILG) •Promote peace and order, ensure public safety, and strengthens local government toward the effective delivery of basic services to the people.
  21. PHILIPPINE INFORMATION AGENCY (PIA) •Provides adequate information to help people make better decisions and identify opportunities that could improve their lives.
