ista has entered into an agreement to acquire Brunata Varmemåler Service AS
and strengthen its position in Bergen.
Oslo, 22. December 2015. As part of our growth strategy in Norway, ista has entered into an
agreement to acquire Brunata Varmemåler Service AS in Bergen.
This acquisition will bolster ista’s position as the market-leading supplier of products and
services for sub-metering. Since its inception in 1969, Brunata Varmemåler Service AS has
maintained a stable and sound customer portfolio. In connection with this acquisition, the
former owner of the company, Sven-Arne Jensen, has been hired by ista Norge AS as Area
Manager and will continue to serve his good, loyal customers.
The acquisition will provide customers in Bergen with a number of opportunities to simplify
their daily lives and gain a better overview of their energy consumption, both as regards
reading and visualising data.
ista and Brunata Varmemåler Service are a good match from a corporate standpoint, as they
are already familiar with each other’s technology and different customer segments.
