Experience
Sombrero Resort & Marina, Marathon, FL ‘16
Hired as Beverage Supervisor at this under re-developing resort I had the
responsibility of all liquor ordering and inventory as well as acquiring new
product lines, Bartending, Staff re-training and new hires. I rapidly became
aware that the renovations were not going to be at the scale or quality that I was
expecting or occurring at a pace that would have the project remotely
completed in a reasonable time frame. The lack of forward movement and their
unwillingness to make emergency repairs to the existing space as well as
unpredictable and unprofessional management, lead to my departure from the
company.
Keys Fisheries, Marathon, FL – ’13-‘15
My first year I was primarily bartending at the ground level service bar and retail
area, with one to two shifts per week at the upstairs raw bar. When the first
position became available I was promoted to the upstairs raw bar full time.
Eventually, I was promoted to Bar Manager, responsible for all scheduling, liquor
inventory, ordering and acquisitions of new products and vendors as well as
training and retaining new and existing staff.
Manager, Cabana Club/Breezes, Key Colony Beach FL - ’03-’12
I was initially hired to run the daily operations of the club office. My primary
tasks were ensuring membership eligibility for all on property guests, monthly
billing of member charges, to maintain the POS system and all office computers,
as well as website design promotion and development. My responsibilities
eventually expanded to include full membership management and accounting as
well as management of the resort’s six suites. These duties included; sales,
marketing, development, guest services, accounting and maintenance oversight.
I was eventually promoted to Restaurant Manager of the 140 seat ocean front
dining facility. I ended this position as bartender, an on-staff Manager & IT
Manager.

Experience Cont.
IT Mgr, EXiT Realty Florida Keys, Marathon, FL - ’01-’03

three offices. My expanded duties also encompassed producing “camera ready”
advertisements for high-end real estate magazines, reception and personal
assistant to the owners. This position required the ability to multi-task, meet
strict deadlines and work with both clients and realtors in a professional and
ethical manner.
Owner, Personal Computer Assistance, Cape Cod, MA - ’98-’01
This start-up company was the first in the region to offer in-house technical

the entire Cape Cod area, consisting of roughly 400 square miles.

While attending college, I had the opportunity to purchase this well-established
sixteen-seat pizzeria with my partner. During our first year as owners/operators
we were able to improve revenue by over forty percent by improving the product
quality and making adjustments to operations and services.
Front Office Mgr, Sea Crest Resort, Falmouth, MA - ’93-’96
Sea Crest Resort is Cape Cod’s largest hotel offering 266 guest rooms and over
