The Adatto hospital bed is an economically sound
alternative. Adatto has 4-sectional mattress base
and it comes with a wide range of assemblies and
options. Other Merivaara bed accessories are
compatible with Adatto.
Due to its adaptability, wide range of accessories and excellent handling,
Adatto is suitable for use from long-term wards to ICU wards. Adatto’s
modularity allows it to be adapted to suit any need.
Adatto’s 4-sectional mattress base is easy to keep
clean. The perforated, bubble-like base structure en-
sures air circulation between the bed and mattress.

3. The grab handle is a safe and ergonomic patient assistance device, which is suitable for use with most patients. The
grab handle enhances patient self-initiative. The unique fixing of grab handle does not widen the bed, thus allowing it
to fit easily through doors and into elevators.

4. Excellent treatment capabilities
Correct, variable treatment positions are of the utmost importance for patient
well-being. Studies show that a versatile use of bed adjustments considerably
reduces pressure on the skin and activates and rehabilitates the patient.
The multiple positions of the Adatto bed can be easily adjusted using a hand
controller. The sliding and rising adjustment of the back section combined with
the leg angle adjustment keeps the patient’s centre of gravity firmly in place.
The skin is not stretched, and the risk of pressure sores forming reduces sig-
nificantly. According to studies, there is up to 90% less shifting in the centre of
gravity compared to two and three-sectional beds.
The Adatto hospital bed’s range of adjustments is truly extensive. The mattress
base is also easily extended using an adjustable foot end and extension board.
Adatto is a tool, which is designed to facilitate nursing work. Adatto’s lightness
and ease of use make patient transfers and supporting treatment positions
