Call EUB-02-2017 IoT Pilots OBJECTIVE Provide an IoT-based personalized gamefied coaching solution (mHealth), guiding children to adopt healthy eating and physical activity behavior. The IoT network will allow us to observe child activity patterns of daily living, health evolution, physiological & behavioral parameters and environmental data. All this information combined with medical patterns will allow us to provide a customized obesity coaching plan. 9

Call EUB-02-2017 IoT Pilots SPECIFICOBJECTIVES Challenge 1: Collect all relevant health, physiological and context information from different sources creating an IoT network, in an easy and transparent way, and then enrich it semantically to be processed by intelligent algorithms. WE ARE HERE Challenge 2: Develop a context-aware intelligent algorithms to understand the information, make decisions, and dynamically personalize and adapt the obesity coaching to the child. Challenge 3: Empowerment and guidance to the children and young individuals to help them modify their eating and physical activity behavior towards personalized present goals (habits determine life-long preferences and health behaviors). 10

Call EUB-02-2017 IoT Pilots PILOTSOVERVIEW • In Spain, a private school Virgen de Europa targeting 300 children between 10 and 12 years old. • In Greece, a private school EA targeting 150 students of primary and secondary selected to take part in the school’s sports teams. • In Brazil, private schools from Fortaleza- CE, targeting 150 students between 9 and 12 years old. 14
