The Humorous Side to DiSC 
• Many of us have completed a DiSC Profile 
for works, teams, relationship, leadership etc. 
• DiSC doesn’t measure sense of humour 
• Let’s take a minute to poke some fun, or take a light 
hearted look at ourselves 
• Let’s start with the high D’s 
• They are known for wanting results, relishing challenges, 
wanting choices, being in control and being blunt and 
assertive 
• But sometimes your greate4st strength is your biggest 
weakness! 
• Enjoy…
The High D – The Humorous Side 
You know your ‘D’ is too high when…… 
• You arrive at work at 8.00am Monday and by 8.03 no one is 
talking to you. 
• You take someone else's bat and ball and go home 
• You are honoured as ‘Trouble Maker of the Year’ 
by an underground terrorist organisation. 
• You start reminiscing about the good old days 
when a gun could be used to settle an argument. 
• You think Gordon Ramsey is soft and wimpy. 
• You feel the urge to direct traffic on the free way 
at peek hour to get things moving. 
• You get impatient waiting for the golf group ahead and decide 
to drive your ball up the fairway, through them!
The High D – The Humorous Side 
You know your ‘D’ is too high when…… 
• You go to work and scowl at people who chit chat. 
• You’re playing golf and you decide to walk over the water 
hazard rather than around it for a change of pace. 
• You give your boss orders! 
• You go along to a wedding as a guest and end up 
taking over because it’s taking too long. 
• You buy and watch the end disc of a DVD series 
and work back 
• You call your mum and after she talks for 10 minutes 
you shut her down and is everything OK. You don’t want all 
the waffle, just the facts.
