Davos 2015: Can the World's Problems be Solved? Klaus Schwab opens the inaugural European Management Forum in Davos in 1971 (re-named the "World Economic Forum" in 1987). Attendees include representatives from international organizations, civil society, culture and spiritual leaders, academics, and the media. All points of view are welcome. Participant discussion topics include: resolving geopolitical crises; repercussions of climate change; pandemics and health, and the new energy context.
