The scope of the switchboardof thecarrental systemistoallowthe userstoselectandnavigateeasily
in to the systemaccordingto the processtheywant to access and editor update,these functionare
sub processes of the main car rental system process.

Customerregistrationformisthe online formwhichwillallow the customerstoprovidetheirpersonal
informationinordertogetthe preapprovalfromthe managementbasedonthe customersage,years
of experience in driving a car and how many years he/she has been dealing with the company, by
completingthisform,the customerwill be notifiedwiththe statusof his/herrequestthroughSMSor
Email according to his choice.

Car registrationformwill be apartof purchasingdepartmentsystemtoupdate the company’ssystem
withthe detailsof the newpurchasedcars, the Mulkiahand insurance detailsof each car registered
in the company’s name in order to keep all the cars updated and not to miss any re registration or
insurance renewal of the cars.

Report Design
The systemwill be able togenerate adetailedreporttoview bythe companystaff and it will include
the branch number, car details, car pickup and return condition, customer details and the total
amount paid.
The systemwill allowfilteringsomeof the givendetailsaccordingtothe usersneed,anexamplegiven
belowof an exceptionreportshowingonlythe carsthat has beenreturnedwithadamage condition
bythe customersandthe total repairingcost toallow thestafftoholdthesedamagedcarsandremove
them from the system until they got repaired.

A summary report which is viewable only by the manager is as displayed below, it only shows
economical partof the reportwhichincludethe total incomecomparingwiththe totallossinaspecific
period of time given by the user.
