For each project the skills learned, elements they were proud of or liked, and takeaways are summarized.
2. Logo for Gems and Stems company
This is a logo I created for a small
company, pro bono. I wanted to get
experience working with a client on
a project from start to finish.
To complete this project I needed to
have excellent communication with
the client and needed to use my
skills with Adobe.
The client was very happy with the
final result.
I learned how to make sure the client
is involved in the creation of the
logo and that you maintain good
communication with them about
the status of the project.
3. Photoshop
Project
This was a project I undertook
on my own to learn how to
use the digital tablet.
The skills needed for this
project were knowledge of
photoshop, color theory
and brushes.
I am proud that it came
together successfully
From this project I gained
some skill with the digital
tablet.
4. Children's
Book Cover
This was the final project for
illustration class
For this project I needed to
have knowledge of
photoshop, color theory and
typography.
I am happy with the way the
mountain and stone turned
out and the colors of the
dragon.
From this project I learned that
there are many elements to
a layout to make it
successful
6. Restaurant Website and menu
This was a project from Advanced Typography. It involved taking an existing
restaurant and recreating the website and menu.
The skills needed for this project were knowledge of Illustrator, photoshop and
typography.
I am happy with the look and feel of the website and menu and how they
enhance the Pub.
From this project I learned how to brainstorm and create ideas for a company
website and I learned how to make a restaurant menu.
7. Graphic Design
History Poster
This was a project from Graphic
Design History class which
involved creating a poster from
each time period.
The skills needed for this project
where knowledge of design history
and layout design using
photoshop.
I like the simplicity of this poster and
the elements of the Swiss style.
I learned that sometimes simple is
better and we can learn a lot from
studying design history.
8. Interactive
Document
This is my most resent project
from Interactive Publishing.
This is the first page of a five
page document using
interactive elements.
Skills needed for this is
knowledge of InDesign and
interactive options.

of this document.
