Dr. D. Devaprakasam is an emerging "new-technologist" and has bundle of entrepreneurial ideas in the domain of new-technology, energy harvesting, micro wind turbine and 3D printing, etc. . He received his M.S. (Engg) and PhD (Engg) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. His research interests have been in the area of nanotechnology, which includes, NEMS, MEMS, Nanomechnaics, Nanolithography Nanometrology, Nanocomposites and Advanced Microscopy-Spectroscopy.
