- 1. THAPAR INSTITUTE OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY, PATIALA Dated: August 09, 2018 ANNOUNCEMENT Candidates who have applied after 20th May, 2018 till 9th August, 2018 can attend counselling at 2 PM on 10th August, 2018. Kindly bring all the original documents and fee as mentioned in prospectus 2018-19. TIET will also conduct open round of counselling for vacant seats of BE/BTech from 11- 14 August, 2018. Eligibility criteria for open round of counselling shall be as under. Category Criteria General JEE (Mains) marks ≥ 35 with 70% marks in PCM in 10+2 Board exam. SC/ST JEE (Mains) marks ≥ 30 with 65% marks in PCM in 10+2 Board exam. Candidates fulfilling above criteria may contact Admission Cell, Registrar Office from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
