Education aims to transmit knowledge and foster skills and character traits through both formal and informal means. Formal education occurs in institutions and is guided by teachers and curricula, while informal education happens outside of institutions. Schools are formal educational institutions that provide learning spaces and environments for teaching students of different ages, from primary to secondary levels. Students are enrolled learners with their own politics and activities on and off campus. Examinations and tests are used to assess students' knowledge, skills, and other attributes in various topics through different styles and rigor. A curriculum encompasses all student experiences in the educational process, including interactions with instructional content and materials as well as evaluation methods.
1. SCHOOL EDUCATION
Education is a purposeful activity directed at achieving certain aims, such as
transmitting knowledge or fostering skills and character traits. These aims may
include the development of understanding, kindness and honesty.
Education originated as the transmission of cultural heritage from one
generation to the next. Today, educational goals increasingly encompass new
ideas such as the liberation of learners, skills needed for modern society,
empathy, and complex vocational skills.
Types of education are commonly divided into formal, non-formal, and
informal education. Formal education takes place in education and training
institutions, is usually structured by curricular aims and objectives, and
learning is typically guided by a teachers. In most regions, formal education is
compulsory up to a certain age and commonly divided into educational stages.
Non-formal education occurs as addition or alternative to formal education.
2. School is an educational institution designed to provide learning spaces and
learning environments for the teaching of students under the direction of
teachers. Most countries have systems of formal education, which is
sometimes compulsory. In these systems, students progress through a series
of schools. The names for these schools vary by country but generally include
primary school for young children and secondary school for teenagers who
have completed primary education. An institution where higher education is
taught is commonly called a university college or university.
Student is a person enrolled in a school or educational institution. Student

rights movement has centered itself on the empowerment of students similar
to the labour movement. In different countries we have different timings and
education system for students.
3. An examination or test is an educational assessment intended to measure a
test-taker’s knowledge, skill, aptitude, physical fitness, or classification in
many other topics. A test may be administered verbally, on paper, on a
computer, or in a predetermined area that requires a test taker to
demonstrate or perform a set of skills. Tests vary in style, rigor and
requirements. There is no general consensus or invariable standard for test
formats and difficulty.
In education, a curriculum is broadly defined as a totally of student
experiences that occur in the educational process. A curriculum may
incorporate the planned interaction of pupils with instructional content,
materials, resources and processes for evaluating the attainment of education
objectives. Curricula may be tightly standardized or may include a high level of
instructor or learner autonomy.
