The scheme is being implemented in five states i.e. Assam, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh,
Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.
A village should have high degree sanitation and Environment.
A village should have an Anganwadi centre and school of appropriate
levels.

Objective : to address the gender imbalance & create positive environment in favor
of girl child.

◊ Highest interest rate of 9.2%
◊ The maturity of account is 21 years from the date of opening account or marriage of
girl child whichever is earlier.
◊ Initial deposit of Rs. 1000 and thereafter any amount in multiple of Rs. 100 can be
deposited to max of 1.5 lakhs.

Objective : To encourage entrepreneurs and small business units to expand their
capabilities and to reduce indebtedness.

¥ Shishu- The starters covers loan upto Rs 50,000.
¥ Kishore- The mid stage finance seekers covers loan above Rs. 50,000 and upto Rs.
5,00,000.
¥ Tarun- Growth seekers covers loan above Rs. 5,00,000 and up to 10,00,000.

Objective : To increase penetration of Life Insurance.

o Available to people in age group 18 to 50 years with bank account.
o Annual premium is Rs 330 per year.
o Sum insured under the scheme is Rs 2 Lakh.

Objective : To encourage individuals working under unorganized sector to opt
for pension during their old age.

€ Available to people in age group 18 to 40 years with bank account.
€ Guaranteed monthly pension between Rs. 1000 to Rs. 5000 to the subscriber
after 60 years of age and to spouse after death of subscriber.
€ Government will contribute 50% of total contribution or 1000 whichever is lower.

crafters, healthcare workers and others.
Skill India also focus on core sectors including construction, gems and jewelry,

Objective : To provide continuous power supply to rural India.

Government plans to invest Rs 75,600 Crore for rural electrification under this

It have a defined benefit cover of Rs 5 Lakh per family per year.
It will allowed to take cashless benefits from any public/private empanelled hospitals
