complex issues and challenging
circumstances. These
conditions and issues have led
to an increase in the demand
for innovative leaders.
A wider perspective and awareness of all the
potential variables in their environment are traits of
innovative leaders. This suggests that they have the
ability to take on challenging situations and devise
original solutions for challenging difficulties. They
may also see their company from a fresh
perspective. As a result, the organization benefits
from their increased ingenuity on all fronts.
Skills:
Innovative leaders are curious about everything,
look in unusual areas, and have great imaginations.
They are prone to speculating constantly. They
therefore find fresh opportunities and take
calculated risks as a result. According to a global
XBInsight survey of more than 5,000 CEOs, there are
five key characteristics that separate innovative
leaders from non-innovation leaders.
Innovation requires implementation.
Creativity without application is
innovation; it is the development of novel
ideas without their application to real-
world problems. It is unquantifiable, risk-
free, and doesn't need any up-front
money. In their book The Leadership
Challenge, Kouzes and Posner exhort
leaders to challenge the status quo by
exploring options, trying new things, and
taking calculated risks.
Strategies:
Innovation is built on knowledge. You
must therefore continually broaden your
expertise. Check out some new reading.
Take into account your unique
experiences.
Sometimes our decisions are influenced by the past,
which leads to the formation of a pattern of behaviour.
Contact your team, your coworkers, and your company
to get their feedback on your innovation goals. Do you
only base your solution on your previous knowledge?
Are you giving any thought to how your assumptions,
beliefs, and values are supported?

consideration.

decide which tactic to utilise.
Innovation is the process of
putting an idea into action,
carrying it out, and making it a
reality.
3. QUIT BRAINSTORMING AND
CONCENTRATE ON GETTING THINGS
DONE.

share any lessons you and your team
have gained from the event. Has

we change? What might we have
done better, if anything? Keep a
