Scope of Services:
Deliver (2) turn-key plastic chain slat conveyor systems to
carry full vehicles through shower test system.
Challenges of project:
Full off-site mechanical design utilizing 3D scanning.
Large system runoff conducted at Leadec facility.
Compressed schedule for tear-out of existing systems and
installation of new.
Required all new support steel, conveyor system, and
grating.
All work completed during shutdowns and off hours.
Work performed at the plant included:
• Designed & Built : (2) slat conveyor systems at 314‘ length each,
including structural, motors, gearboxes, and chain.
• Fabrication of control panels including all drives and controls.
• Programming of all PLCs and VFDs.
• Full startup and commissioning support.
