2. People call me crazy for the amount of time I spend studying basketball and
trying to perfect my craft of sportscasting but that’s what I love to do and my
life revolves around it.
I eat, sleep, and breathe sports. If I’m not watching them, I’m playing them or
talking about them, but everything I do outside of work involves sports.
I’m someone who prides themselves on having passions, I feel like if you don’t
have any passions or goals then you’re just going through the motions for lack
of a better term.
I like to think of myself as very “coachable”, I can take constructive criticism
and apply it in order to improve. I’ve played sports my whole life so that’s
something that comes natural, I never take offense from someone who has
more experience in life than me telling me how to do something.
I’m only a sophomore in college so I don’t have much industry experience, so
what I like to do is turn one of the rooms in my house into a makeshift
broadcast studio. I live broadcast NBA games, I film myself doing game
breakdowns and talking about big headlines in the NBA that week, I have a
podcast with a few friends where we discuss big sports news on a weekly
basis. So I’m doing everything I can to get as much experience in the industry
without actually being in the industry.

BRAND ARCHETYPE -My top brand archetype was
the hero archetype. I approach my work differently
than others through that prism because my only
priority isn’t just me. I like to make sure the people
around me are being successful as much as I like to
see my own success. So I feel like that sets me apart
from other because a lot of people now a-days are
extremely selfish and only care about themselves.
This trait is one reason I want to start my own
sportscasting school in the future that will cost less
than most and provide students with all the information
that they need to be successful in this industry,
because what’s the point of being great in something if
you don’t help form the next generation of greats?
