• Research Cruises – Plan, prepare, conduct, and cleanup for multiple, Potentially Sensitive Biological Features (PSBF) Project and
Invasive Species Project, cruises. Real world data and sample collection, as well as pictures and video, offshore on Banks and Oil
Platforms in the Northern Gulf of Mexico using ROV and SCUBA.
• Statistical Analysis, Data Processing, and Graphical Representation – Oil Spill Project: Water and Sediment samples collected on
research cruises as well as other sources. PSBF Project: Took initial data and calculated that we only needed 20% of original
intended data to obtain a proper result, so saved 80% time/work.
• Set and Regulate Scuba Diving Rules used by LUMCON and attend to current issues.
ISS Trajectory Operations Flight Controller/Engineer Barrios Technology/NASA Houston, TX Mar 2008 - Sep 2010
• Increment Trajectory Analyst – Designed altitude strategy for ISS and visiting vehicles for a 6+ month period
• Space Debris Environment – Calculated historic, present, and future debris flux to better ensure ISS and visiting vehicle safety
The TOPO performs all International Space Station (ISS) trajectory planning and real-time operations, coordinating with the international
partners to assure an integrated ISS trajectory. The data generated by the TOPO is used to predict the location of the ISS for long term
planning and short term execution. During real-time operations the TOPO manages the ISS ground and on-board state vectors, and evaluates
the ISS trajectory for potential debris avoidance maneuvers.
Primary job functions of this position include: Operations Product Development and Maintenance, Console Operations, Ground Hardware
and Software Development Activities, Vehicle Design Support and Testing Activities, Preflight Analysis, Technical Communication,
Receiving Training, Administrative Activities, and Technical Leadership.

• Spacecraft Detail Design (Team Leader, 8-person team) - Designed the recovery system for a ground launched missile. Only team to
physically build entire system.
