General Job Responsibilities
 Ensuring that all safety measures and ADCO safety procedures are implemented, as described in the Task Risk
Assessment and Permit (PTW).
 Ensuring dust control is maintained by using water tankers for spraying of water on regular basis.
 Ensuring that operators have a valid license from UAE,ADCO license and training certificate.
 Maintaining monthly inspection on equipments and, operators’ license and third party certificate.
 Ensuring that a trained banks-man with orange reflective vest is assigned for each equipment during operation.
 Ensuring that barricades and warning signs are fixed around the excavated area.
 Ensuring that permits and certificates (as applicable) are obtained prior to commencing any work.
 Inspecting the worksite to check whether work certificate and permit is revalidated.
 Ensuring proper stacking of materials to avoid collapse or damages and injuries to the workers.
 Ensuring that materials are well stored in safe place,while “separating inflammable substance” from combustible
materials to prevent the risk of fire outbreak.
 Being a focal point for the implementation of the Contract requirements, Project HSE, Policy, plans and
procedures.
 Ensuring that technical safety and risk engineering aspects are integrated into project life cycle.
 Leading the Project team in accomplishing a Specific, Measurable,Achievable, Realizable and Time-bound
(SMART) Objective, Target and Programs for the project.
 Reviewing the contract documents for each Construction Package in respect of HSE requirements and procedures
and advising the Project Manager of any deficiency. Inspecting work site to locate unsafe conditions or unsafe
practices.
 Ensuring that materials safety data sheet (MSDS) are available for all materials, maintained and personnel are
trained and aware of the MSDS’ usage and it importance
 Maintain monthly inspection on equipments and, operators’ license and third party certificate
 Ensuring gas test is conducted daily by a qualified gas tester and gas monitor.
 Ensuring there is a permanent gas monitor in the well head area for a continuous gas monitoring.
 Communicate to workforce and teach how to use escape hood and gas monitor properly in case of emergency.
 Coordination, documentation and dissemination of daily, weekly and monthly Safety reports to the
Environmental Toxicology & Safety (HSE) Manager.
 Conducting Safety Induction, including training programs for new recruits and regular or Safety trainings for
staffs.
 Ensuring that Tool Box talks being delivered to the Operatives and assisting in seminars.
 Participate in the safety engineering culture and methodology socialization within Project division departments
(Project teams and Project engineering).
 Providing supports and assistances on Project activities through production and projects coordination, e.g.
comments on safety concept of new installation and project.
 Ensuring proper PersonalProtective Equipments are worn as required for the task.
 Ensuring that waste food and drink packaging are collected and removed from site on a daily basis.
 Ensuring that proper housekeeping is maintained.
