feeling to the mix.
Alphonse Chapanis carried out research in 1965 to determine the best
keypad. The skeuomorphic circle of the dial system was the most
preferred by the 1000s of test subjects I-C. He made the bold decision
to IV-A layout—fast keying—low errors.
