Scholarship Appeal Letter
Dayan RamirezDear IA committee, I am writing this letter of appeal hoping that you reevaluate your decision to not renew my scholarship for the
2015 Fall semester. The decision to not renew my scholarship was based on the fact that I failed to attend to the spring semester.I understand that the
loss of my scholarship was absolutely my fault, and regardless of your response to this letter,With gratitude I thank the committee for giving me the
scholarship in the first place, as well as taking the time to read this letter. I hope that the following information will help you to understand my
situation. As you may or may not know i am an information technology major. i have a passion for computers, specially computer programing.
unfortunately Monroe college only offers one course of computer programming. programming is a way in which we talk with computers in order to
accomplish certain tasks, basically learning a new language.i knew that it would be challenging for me to comprehend computer programming. i felt
that if i transferred to another school that provides more courses i would have a better chance of becoming successful at it....show more content...
The thought of attending to the same school with my friends was brilliant. i failed to think of the consequences, mainly transportation. My daily
commute consisted of 90 minutes in the New York City subway, which back then getting to Monroe College only took me 15 minutes. Sadly i never
had a math class. It affected my school schedule, which only consist of gen eds and undeclared major.there was also an issue with my credits sadly
only 9 out of my 30 credits previously earned in Monroe College transferred. This experience reminded me that there are things we must consider

Scholarship Boy or Not?
In the essay "Achievement of Desire", Richard Rodriguez takes author Richard Hoggart's, "Scholarship Boy", and uses it as a reference point to
capture his own life experiences as a scholarship boy. Growing up in a working class house hold, Richard was not the average product of his
environment. Much like Hoggarts' scholarship boy, Rodriguez was a very dedicated student that excelled in most of his studies. Although Rodriguez
had the full support of his parents he was still somewhat physically segregated at home. On most nights, he spent time engulfed in books and notes,
rather than watching television with family, or lolly gagging with friends. Yet these habits adversely affect his social and family life it is...show more

In becoming the scholarship boy Rodriguez had lost all connection with his family. He also began to listen to the more worldly advice that his parents
had to offer less and less, "Stupidly I took for granted their enormous amount of native intelligence" (551). Parents have experienced way more

Why Should I Be Awarded A Scholarship
I believe I should be awarded this scholarship because I have put all my focus on my education the last four years of high school. I took every
opportunity and I could to improve my grades. I personally accepted nothing lower than an A. If I received a B I always pushed myself to do better
the next time. I pushed myself harder than my parents pushed me; they would have been happy if I had gotten all C's. When I'm not in school I'm
working at the local hospital for the last four years, or volunteering to clean at the local food bank for the last year. I also have babysat many of the
local kids in town.
I should also be awarded this scholarship because I deserve the chance to go to college to further my education. Of course I could apply for

Why I Should Be Awarded A Scholarship
I believe I should be awarded one of your scholarships because I believe in taking advantage of every opportunity that the scholarship will bestow
upon me. I am a student that believes in working hard, being a positive influence, and giving back to the community. Your organization and I share
these core values and I would like to take our vision further by using this scholarship to advance my education as well as an opportunity to improve the
lives of those around me. As an immigrant from Nepal, I have had to work hard my whole life just to survive in America. Working multiple jobs while
attending school is a tough challenge that I face but I believe that if one works hard their dreams can come true. Many people from my community give

Minority Scholarships
The various ethnicities that comprise the student body across the country has influenced education in today's society. At any time one can look up the
breakdown of the different ethnic groups in schools, and I see the greatest effect of this statistic translating into money being given to further
education particularly at the college level. With senior year in progress, college is right around the corner, and much more inevitable for a successful
future than ever before in the world we live in. But in order to receive an education at the collegiate level, we must be able to afford it, which is a
pivotal factor regarding choices in individuals' lives. While everyone is different, the scholarships that a certain person is presented with are much

If the concept of the social construct is created to include race relations, isn't irony at the center of the reasoning behind "equal" education? Rather
than enforcing criteria to attain a scholarship, my opinion is that these scholarships influence people's views on race relations. President Obama
brought up a very paramount remark in "Poll finds most think race relations are bad" by stating, "For too long we've been blind to the way past
injustices continue to shape the present" (Sack). I believe this is an accurate comment since as of late we have seen the support, as well as the
objection, towards the Confederate flag flying in South Carolina. In other words, turmoil has not completely gone away in regards to physical
appearance as depicted by the discrepancy in South Carolina, demonstrating the controversy between those of various looks with their scholarship
opportunities. With this being said, it can be inferred that there are multiple outlooks on the scholarship considerations. In fact, white students receive
more than three–quarters (76%) of all institutional merit–based scholarship and grant funding while making up 61.8% of the population (Kantrowitz)
as opposed to minorities, making up the remaining 38.2% of the population, receiving 48.5% of financial aid grants because they are more likely to be

Levine Scholarship
Thank you for awarding the Levine Scholarship to me. This $4,000 scholarship means so much. It is enough to help cover the cost of my supplies
for this semester and next. My husband's company closed their doors in 2007. He was not able to attend college and struggled looking for work.
Almost two years later, he found a job making $8 an hour. He later found another making $11 an hour. He now makes a little more than $11 an
hour. Like most people, we lost our home of 20 years, a vehicle, savings, and our 401k. In 2013, the company I was blessed to work for 16 years
moved to another country. At first I was devastated, but later, I was excited to learn I could attend college. This was my opportunity to finally obtain
a degree and step into a new page of my life....show more content...
She made a courageous decision to attend Central Piedmont Community College late in her life and obtain her GED to gain a career that might
sustain her and her children. I was in high school during that time and remember helping her with homework. My mom was a single parent and

working three jobs, she paid the bills and made sure my younger brother and I had something to eat. Later, she worked her way up to Activities

pancreatic cancer, however the impact of seeing her attend college, complete her studies, and further her education still astounds

Pillar Of Scholarship
Scholarship: Academic study or achievement; learning of a high level. I am most passionate about the pillar of scholarship because it is the most
accomplishing and worthy pillar to me. I also think scholarship is necessary to get a good job and have a well planned future. I decided to write about
this particular pillar because If I want to achieve my dream job I will have to use this tactic. When I get older I would like to be in the medical field,
specifically an anesthesiologist. To achieve this goal of mine, it is necessary to have scholarship. In order to do this, I will have to set my mind on
good grades, studying and AP classes, specifically sciences classes. Right now, to achieve my goal of working in the medical field, I

Scholarship money is a type of financial aid, awarded to students for their academic merit based on a mix of GPA, SAT scores, and class rank
(How to get a scholarship 2011). Scholarship is not easy to get or apply nowadays as the requirements are high and based on the merit. The awards
are almost always for top students. According to the statistic from The University of Virginia, 318 students applied for scholarships and only 83 are
awarded scholarship (Scholarship Statistic 2011). The scholarship mentioned above was a merit based scholarship and had caused such a low
percentage of students able to get a scholarship. However, some universities were concerned with the student's actual needs of scholarship. Such

Furthermore, the poor students who can hardly get a financial aid needs the scholarship more for study because their parents could not afford to pay
the fees. Besides that, price rising in colleges forces some of the poor students to choose for taking up part time jobs and some of them have no choice
by stopping their courses, dropping out of the colleges or delaying of graduation (Carey 2009). Due to governments' uneven providing scholarships, this
matter had brought unbalance distribution of financial help to the society because of the cost for tertiary education is high and the poor are not given
assistance in form of scholarship, they are unable to pursue their education. As a result, they are marginalised. The poor will remain poor while for the
rich they become richer. A scholarship means something extra for the wealthy students but for the poor, it means the world. Secondly, by giving
scholarship based on other criteria would be the best option is because it will elevate parents and students' financial burden. The students' family
background should be taken as reference for the government. Different areas has different achievement standard so the governments should take note
of it. For instance, students tend to have higher quality education in the city

Why I Want To Get A Scholarship
Like a lot of students applying for these scholarships, I do not come from the most fortunate family. I was raised by a single mother. My mother did
everything in her power to keep us afloat in this rough world, including attending a community college to become a licensed practical nurse while
having a child at home. All my mother ever asked of me was to stay out of trouble and keep my grades up so I can attend a good college. I knew that if I
did not gain a scholarship to a school, she would have to pay out of pocket for college. I could not put that burden on her shoulders because I knew
she could not afford it. With that motivation, I worked hard through all my years of school to make the best grades possible. I managed to make my
mother proud by being an honor graduate from a predominantly white high school, making 24 on the ACT, and earning a full scholarship to Alcorn State
University to major in biology....show more content...
It was a culture shock to me coming from a mostly white high school to a historically black college. It was also my first time away from home. I
felt Alcorn was the going to be a place where I could achieve my career goals, mature into a responsible young man, and have fun. However,
halfway through my first semester, I began to have too much fun and lose sight of why I was at Alcorn. My grades slipped because of this and I dug
myself into a hole I could not get out of. I tried my hardest to bring my grades up next the semester but it was not enough. I finished with a 2.86–grade
point average instead of the 3.0–grade point average I needed to keep my

Receiving A Scholarship
Receiving a scholarship will impact my career gravely, not only will this help me to continue my studies, but it will also help me in my studies, so
that I may not stay focused on the money aspect of things. While being in college the thing to stress about the most should have to be studying and
staying on track with your assignments, but money plays a huge part in a college students life. We have to be aware of how much money we are
putting into our career and not get behind on bills, but in trying to keep up with those bills, working long hours at a minimum wage paying job,
trying to volunteer and studying, we, or I as a student get very overwhelmed from time to time. So, receiving a scholarship will be load off of all the
stress I put on my shoulders on a daily basis. Not only is it a stress reliever to receive a scholarship, but it also boosts ones self esteem....show more

I am sure I'm not alone when I say that I feel very low or depressed sometimes, like I do not feel like I am worth much in this world, but if I have the

homework are finally paying off, that what I am striving for will one day be in my reach and I will be able to say I finally made it to where I want to

Being A Scholarship Recipient
Being a scholarship recipient would be fantastic, it would allow me to finish my degree without a heavy loan debt. It would allow me to continue my
education, not only while in college, but after graduation as well. Education is the key, receiving a scholarship would allow me to continue that
endless journey. It would allow me to not only help myself, but one day help others with a well–thought–out plan of logically using foods. Me
becoming a recipient would allow me to further my education and ultimately reach my goals.

Dear Scholarship/Bursary/Award Committee,
As a student in my sophomore semester who is financially weak, it is certain that I needed to be persistent and determined to achieve my career
aspirations. However, I would not be at this level in my education without my family's support. My parents have always thought me to believe in the
slogan "Education is the most powerful weapon which I can use to change the world". I have taken this to heart while I struggle to push through my
financial difficulties in order to achieve my dream of being a development practitioner (Indigenous focus).
I have learnt how to provide myself with a decent quality of life, with little or no emotional and financial assistance from my husband. My relocation to
study in Canada was overwhelming because I sought student loan from my home country that was sufficient to pay my first year fee and accomodation

Why I Deserve A Scholarship
I feel that I should be granted this scholarship for multiple reasons. All of which lead back to my success as a person. I enjoy learning, I take pride
in what I have, I don't take anything for granted, and I always try my best. Receiving this scholarship would be the equivalent to a driven student who
is determined to see results and succeed. I feel that I should be granted the scholarship for financial reasons, and those reasons reflect onto other
reasons why I would be a good candidate for the scholarship. I attend Michigan State University, I am in the Spartan Marching Band, I do intramural
sports, and I have a job on campus when I don't have extracurriculars. I'm doing all of these things with a major in mechanical engineering, a
concentration in biomedical, and a minor in computer science. To top it all off, I will be paying for all of this myself. My parents do whatever they
can to help my siblings and me through college, and I am very thankful for that, but they don't have the money to help me. I also have two siblings
who are in college as well so they wouldn't be able to afford it anyway. My entire year is not covered either, so in order to pay for my books, classes,
room, and board, I'm willing to do anything so...show more content...
Getting through college is very important to me because not only do I want to see myself succeed and be happy in whatever I do, but also because
it will make me part of the first generation of my entire extended family to graduate from college. This combined with my outgoing, driven attitude
make me a good candidate to receive the scholarship. In fact, I'm already beginning to see the results of my efforts because I had an internship by the
end of my freshman year, which is very uncommon at MSU. I am getting a very high quality education at MSU, and to give that up because I can't
afford it would be devastating given the fact that I thrive as a student, a worker, and a person while I'm in

For this scholarship, I wanted to make whoever is reading this short essay to know who I truly am and who I truly want to become. I am a
17–year–old girl with aspirations and dreams that I am determined to reach. Growing up in a religious family, I was always brought up with specific
morals and values but that has shaped me into the person I am today. I grew up in a family where their education was not nearly as good as mine is
today. Being the first one in my family to go to a four–year college makes me want to push harder to make them happy. As a young child, I always had
an interest in cooking, reading, and playing tennis. The qualities that I have used doing these things has shaped me into the person I am today. These

Having the sense that I pushed myself the hardest I can and knowing that I won't stop as I further my education makes all of the obstacles
worthwhile. Scholarships in a way have motivated me to do more as a student. I wanted to be able to do more like scholarships to benefit myself
rather than having that feeling that I didn't do as much for myself then I should have. Being considered for a scholarship will give me the feeling
that all the dedication that I've put into my work for the past four years was all worth it. Just the satisfaction of knowing that I put my all into it is
just a good feeling as being awarded a scholarship. Scholarships are meant to push students farther in what they want so being able to do this has
made me think of all the great things that can come out of things like this. I've never stopped trying at anything I've done and I will continue this as
I go further in my education and career. I would like to advocate for my future students that always being able to motivate and have faith in yourself
will always get you to you truly desire. I've had faith in myself as a student to try as hard as I possibly can to get these scholarships and to put my
heart into

College Scholarship Benefits
A college education has been my main goal growing up, and this scholarship would help make this opportunity possible. In the fall, I plan to attend
Ohio State University and major in both political science and biology. After earning my undergraduate degree, I would like to continue my
education and earn an advanced degree because my career goal is to become either a lawyer or a doctor. However, one of the most difficult challenges I
will face as I earn my degrees will be how I can reduce the amount of debt I will incur. Therefore, scholarships like the Men's Club Civic Involvement
College Scholarship provide a means for me to help lower the cost of my education.

is hard due to the high cost of the colleges, but there are a lot of ways to pay less or maybe nothing and saving a lot of money.
First off, scholarships are a really good and interesting way to pay the college. According to HowToGo.com "There is scholarships for literally

need to pay back the money borrowed after graduation. Federal loans, according to HowToGo.com have "No payments until six months after you

better way to pay college than scholarships because you have to pay back the money borrowed but it is a good and interesting way to not leave

Scholarship Appeal Letter

  • 1. Scholarship Appeal Letter Dayan RamirezDear IA committee, I am writing this letter of appeal hoping that you reevaluate your decision to not renew my scholarship for the 2015 Fall semester. The decision to not renew my scholarship was based on the fact that I failed to attend to the spring semester.I understand that the loss of my scholarship was absolutely my fault, and regardless of your response to this letter,With gratitude I thank the committee for giving me the scholarship in the first place, as well as taking the time to read this letter. I hope that the following information will help you to understand my situation. As you may or may not know i am an information technology major. i have a passion for computers, specially computer programing. unfortunately Monroe college only offers one course of computer programming. programming is a way in which we talk with computers in order to accomplish certain tasks, basically learning a new language.i knew that it would be challenging for me to comprehend computer programming. i felt that if i transferred to another school that provides more courses i would have a better chance of becoming successful at it....show more content... The thought of attending to the same school with my friends was brilliant. i failed to think of the consequences, mainly transportation. My daily commute consisted of 90 minutes in the New York City subway, which back then getting to Monroe College only took me 15 minutes. Sadly i never had a math class. It affected my school schedule, which only consist of gen eds and undeclared major.there was also an issue with my credits sadly only 9 out of my 30 credits previously earned in Monroe College transferred. This experience reminded me that there are things we must consider before giving in to any Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Scholarship Boy or Not? Scholarship Boy or Not? In the essay "Achievement of Desire", Richard Rodriguez takes author Richard Hoggart's, "Scholarship Boy", and uses it as a reference point to capture his own life experiences as a scholarship boy. Growing up in a working class house hold, Richard was not the average product of his environment. Much like Hoggarts' scholarship boy, Rodriguez was a very dedicated student that excelled in most of his studies. Although Rodriguez had the full support of his parents he was still somewhat physically segregated at home. On most nights, he spent time engulfed in books and notes, rather than watching television with family, or lolly gagging with friends. Yet these habits adversely affect his social and family life it is...show more content... In becoming the scholarship boy Rodriguez had lost all connection with his family. He also began to listen to the more worldly advice that his parents had to offer less and less, "Stupidly I took for granted their enormous amount of native intelligence" (551). • 3. Why Should I Be Awarded A Scholarship I believe I should be awarded this scholarship because I have put all my focus on my education the last four years of high school. I took every opportunity and I could to improve my grades. I personally accepted nothing lower than an A. If I received a B I always pushed myself to do better the next time. I pushed myself harder than my parents pushed me; they would have been happy if I had gotten all C's. When I'm not in school I'm working at the local hospital for the last four years, or volunteering to clean at the local food bank for the last year. I also have babysat many of the local kids in town. I should also be awarded this scholarship because I deserve the chance to go to college to further my education. Of course I could apply for Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Why I Should Be Awarded A Scholarship I believe I should be awarded one of your scholarships because I believe in taking advantage of every opportunity that the scholarship will bestow upon me. I am a student that believes in working hard, being a positive influence, and giving back to the community. Your organization and I share these core values and I would like to take our vision further by using this scholarship to advance my education as well as an opportunity to improve the lives of those around me. As an immigrant from Nepal, I have had to work hard my whole life just to survive in America. Working multiple jobs while attending school is a tough challenge that I face but I believe that if one works hard their dreams can come true. • 5. Minority Scholarships The various ethnicities that comprise the student body across the country has influenced education in today's society. At any time one can look up the breakdown of the different ethnic groups in schools, and I see the greatest effect of this statistic translating into money being given to further education particularly at the college level. With senior year in progress, college is right around the corner, and much more inevitable for a successful future than ever before in the world we live in. But in order to receive an education at the collegiate level, we must be able to afford it, which is a pivotal factor regarding choices in individuals' lives. While everyone is different, the scholarships that a certain person is presented with are much ...show more content... If the concept of the social construct is created to include race relations, isn't irony at the center of the reasoning behind "equal" education? Rather than enforcing criteria to attain a scholarship, my opinion is that these scholarships influence people's views on race relations. President Obama brought up a very paramount remark in "Poll finds most think race relations are bad" by stating, "For too long we've been blind to the way past injustices continue to shape the present" (Sack). I believe this is an accurate comment since as of late we have seen the support, as well as the objection, towards the Confederate flag flying in South Carolina. In other words, turmoil has not completely gone away in regards to physical appearance as depicted by the discrepancy in South Carolina, demonstrating the controversy between those of various looks with their scholarship opportunities. With this being said, it can be inferred that there are multiple outlooks on the scholarship considerations. In fact, white students receive more than three–quarters (76%) of all institutional merit–based scholarship and grant funding while making up 61.8% of the population (Kantrowitz) as opposed to minorities, making up the remaining 38.2% of the population, receiving 48.5% of financial aid grants because they are more likely to be low–income Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Levine Scholarship Thank you for awarding the Levine Scholarship to me. This $4,000 scholarship means so much. It is enough to help cover the cost of my supplies for this semester and next. My husband's company closed their doors in 2007. He was not able to attend college and struggled looking for work. Almost two years later, he found a job making $8 an hour. He later found another making $11 an hour. He now makes a little more than $11 an hour. Like most people, we lost our home of 20 years, a vehicle, savings, and our 401k. In 2013, the company I was blessed to work for 16 years moved to another country. At first I was devastated, but later, I was excited to learn I could attend college. I am most passionate about the pillar of scholarship because it is the most accomplishing and worthy pillar to me. I also think scholarship is necessary to get a good job and have a well planned future. I decided to write about this particular pillar because If I want to achieve my dream job I will have to use this tactic. When I get older I would like to be in the medical field, specifically an anesthesiologist. To achieve this goal of mine, it is necessary to have scholarship. In order to do this, I will have to set my mind on good grades, studying and AP classes, specifically sciences classes. • 8. Scholarship money is a type of financial aid, awarded to students for their academic merit based on a mix of GPA, SAT scores, and class rank (How to get a scholarship 2011). Scholarship is not easy to get or apply nowadays as the requirements are high and based on the merit. The awards are almost always for top students. According to the statistic from The University of Virginia, 318 students applied for scholarships and only 83 are awarded scholarship (Scholarship Statistic 2011). The scholarship mentioned above was a merit based scholarship and had caused such a low percentage of students able to get a scholarship. However, some universities were concerned with the student's actual needs of scholarship. Such university is the...show more content... Furthermore, the poor students who can hardly get a financial aid needs the scholarship more for study because their parents could not afford to pay the fees. Besides that, price rising in colleges forces some of the poor students to choose for taking up part time jobs and some of them have no choice by stopping their courses, dropping out of the colleges or delaying of graduation (Carey 2009). Due to governments' uneven providing scholarships, this matter had brought unbalance distribution of financial help to the society because of the cost for tertiary education is high and the poor are not given assistance in form of scholarship, they are unable to pursue their education. As a result, they are marginalised. The poor will remain poor while for the rich they become richer. A scholarship means something extra for the wealthy students but for the poor, it means the world. Secondly, by giving scholarship based on other criteria would be the best option is because it will elevate parents and students' financial burden. The students' family background should be taken as reference for the government. Different areas has different achievement standard so the governments should take note of it. For instance, students tend to have higher quality education in the city Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 9. Why I Want To Get A Scholarship Like a lot of students applying for these scholarships, I do not come from the most fortunate family. I was raised by a single mother. My mother did everything in her power to keep us afloat in this rough world, including attending a community college to become a licensed practical nurse while having a child at home. All my mother ever asked of me was to stay out of trouble and keep my grades up so I can attend a good college. I knew that if I did not gain a scholarship to a school, she would have to pay out of pocket for college. I could not put that burden on her shoulders because I knew she could not afford it. With that motivation, I worked hard through all my years of school to make the best grades possible. I managed to make my mother proud by being an honor graduate from a predominantly white high school, making 24 on the ACT, and earning a full scholarship to Alcorn State University to major in biology....show more content... However, halfway through my first semester, I began to have too much fun and lose sight of why I was at Alcorn. My grades slipped because of this and I dug myself into a hole I could not get out of. I tried my hardest to bring my grades up next the semester but it was not enough. I finished with a 2.86–grade point average instead of the 3.0–grade point average I needed to keep my Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. Receiving A Scholarship Receiving a scholarship will impact my career gravely, not only will this help me to continue my studies, but it will also help me in my studies, so that I may not stay focused on the money aspect of things. While being in college the thing to stress about the most should have to be studying and staying on track with your assignments, but money plays a huge part in a college students life. We have to be aware of how much money we are putting into our career and not get behind on bills, but in trying to keep up with those bills, working long hours at a minimum wage paying job, trying to volunteer and studying, we, or I as a student get very overwhelmed from time to time. So, receiving a scholarship will be load off of all the stress I put on my shoulders on a daily basis. Scholarship Appeal Letter Sample Dear Scholarship/Bursary/Award Committee, As a student in my sophomore semester who is financially weak, it is certain that I needed to be persistent and determined to achieve my career aspirations. However, I would not be at this level in my education without my family's support. • 13. Why I Deserve A Scholarship I feel that I should be granted this scholarship for multiple reasons. All of which lead back to my success as a person. I enjoy learning, I take pride in what I have, I don't take anything for granted, and I always try my best. Receiving this scholarship would be the equivalent to a driven student who is determined to see results and succeed. I feel that I should be granted the scholarship for financial reasons, and those reasons reflect onto other reasons why I would be a good candidate for the scholarship. I attend Michigan State University, I am in the Spartan Marching Band, I do intramural sports, and I have a job on campus when I don't have extracurriculars. I'm doing all of these things with a major in mechanical engineering, a concentration in biomedical, and a minor in computer science. To top it all off, I will be paying for all of this myself. My parents do whatever they can to help my siblings and me through college, and I am very thankful for that, but they don't have the money to help me. In fact, I'm already beginning to see the results of my efforts because I had an internship by the end of my freshman year, which is very uncommon at MSU. I am a 17–year–old girl with aspirations and dreams that I am determined to reach. Growing up in a religious family, I was always brought up with specific morals and values but that has shaped me into the person I am today. I grew up in a family where their education was not nearly as good as mine is today. Being the first one in my family to go to a four–year college makes me want to push harder to make them happy. As a young child, I always had an interest in cooking, reading, and playing tennis. The qualities that I have used doing these things has shaped me into the person I am today. Scholarships in a way have motivated me to do more as a student. I wanted to be able to do more like scholarships to benefit myself rather than having that feeling that I didn't do as much for myself then I should have. Being considered for a scholarship will give me the feeling that all the dedication that I've put into my work for the past four years was all worth it. Just the satisfaction of knowing that I put my all into it is just a good feeling as being awarded a scholarship. Scholarships are meant to push students farther in what they want so being able to do this has made me think of all the great things that can come out of things like this. I've never stopped trying at anything I've done and I will continue this as I go further in my education and career.
