2. Use
 My magazine mostly follows
conventions as I wanted it to
resemble already successful
magazines I looked at rap
magazines such as vibe this is
where I got the colouring
from. I also took the
positioning of the sell lines
from vibe but decided to use
less because vibe has a very
busy looking cover page and I
wanted a clean look.

3. Use
 The design of my contents
page was based on drummer
magazine, I liked the way
drummer balanced text with
images on the contents page.
The main stories are shown
with images because images
are more likely to catch the
eye than text.

4. Use
 The double page spread uses
conventions like a pull quote and
introductory paragraph about the article

5. Challenging
 The way my magazine challenges
conventions is by using a white
rapper as a model rather than a
black rapper. This is challenging
conventions because most of the
other big magazines use black
musicians over white.

6. Developing
 I developed the contents page by
colour coding the sections of the
magazine. Regulars (Red) Inside
(Blue) Extras (Black) On The Cover
(Yellow). This would come into
effect if the magazine was
published because the reader could
quickly flick to the page because of
the colour coded pages.

7. Developing
I chose to have an image spanning
across both the pages rather than on
one I though this filled the page up
more and would keep the reader
more interested in the spread.
