The hCG method is an extreme diet involving drastic weight loss
of up to one pound a day associated with a 500 to 1,500 caloric
intake coupled with injections of the hormone human chorionic
gonadotropin.

3. HCG DIET
 Research demonstrates the loss of weight is attributed to
the controlled intake of calories combined with an
exercise plan and not necessarily just the presence of the
hormone hCG being in the body. However, human
chorionic gonadotropin is associated with how the weight
is lost.
Medical studies conclude hCG reduces the feeling of
hunger, thereby allowing patients to consume fewer
calories more comfortably. Since the hormone causes
feelings of nausea during pregnancy, it is believed human
chorionic gonadotropin helps weight loss by suppressing
the patient’s appetite. In addition, since hCG creates an
anabolic or muscle-building state, patients will see faster
results in a healthier manner.
