2. What do you intend to
make
• I intend to make a poster of The Grid which will be designed and made
on Adobe Photoshop with the size of 18 x 24 inches. With the theme
being optical illusion. This can be done by using vibrant colours with
special effects. I quickly made an example of this, and the final piece
will be similar. And will be using the same effects.

3. Why you want to make it from a personal
point of view
• I feel like making a poster would be the best option for me personally
as I am better in print over filming and making videos. As well as this
for the 1st factual project this I did a fanzine, so links well with the
poster design. This means I already have experience of the whole
planning/production/evaluation of it from previous projects.
4. Why this is suitable for the project from an
audience point of view
• This links with the audience as our target audience is 16-24 year olds
and the illusion aspect of the poster will really stand out to them with
the colour scheme we have chosen as well. Posters are very crucial in
advertisement even with a very heavy digital footprint from
teenagers. Posters are still important as wherever you go posters will
be visible as they can be put in most if not al areas.
5. What you intend to deliver at the end of the
production
• I intend to deliver a good looking and well put together poster. The
elements needed for this is the correct colour scheme that work well
together as well as successful structure in terms of how to put
together the poster. Another way I can do this is through the right
research which I will elaborate on in the next slide.
6. Any research and resources you will need for
the production
• One main research style I want to do is study excising posters and
understand how and why they are as successful as they are as well as
how some aren't as successful as others. This will help me develop
what works and what doesn't work for a poster. Another key element
of research and want to go over is video tutorials on YouTube. And
find out how to make more complex pictures and add this to my
arsenal as well as my poster. This also links with resources using
YouTube as a main resource site. Another research style that I will go
over is experiment in Adobe Photoshop and again find out what
works and what doesn't work.
7. How does it link to your specialism and FMP
• As I've previously gone over, I am much stronger making print-based
projects over making a film/video. So, pitching making a poster was a
no brainer. This links with my FMP as I want to develop/make a social
media platform for either a fantasy team or an excising football team
where I live (Thirsk Falcons). This links as the social media will be
mostly all print based posts on Instagram for example.
