4. In order to track students progress in responding and
answering their module or LAS, I made a learning monitoring plan to
follow up and check up their progress in mastering the skills and
knowledge of a most essential learning competencies. Students also
could ask questions in any asynchronous mode of learning, through
text message and chat on the messenger.
7. Lesson plan are design to students in general to cope up with their needs,
improve their strength and to relate it to practical circumstances that students can
relate it to their personal experiences. These lesson plans are the basis or guide to
the flow of the discussion that leads to the objectives attainment wherein I revised
and modified some written and performance task.
In addition to learners difficult circumstances, I made a lesson plan
answering students needs in difficult circumstances. For instance in the review, I
construct questions regarding to on how students could apply their skills in this time
of pandemic. And aslo measure if the students have a mastery in the previous
lessons.
11. I utilized ICT as an aid of feed backing and to help the learners in
responding and answering the module or LAS. Learners can address his/ her
queries through messenger, text message on even in the group chat. Then also, I
sent the module and LAS for students couldn’t go to school because of health
protocol. Through group chat, I follow up their activities for those students who
couldn’t pass and give some information for the retrieval and distribution of Module
and LAS. Adjustments were made for modules to be simplified and easy for
students to understand. The modifications on the learning modalities has been
shifted from modular distance learning to online class especially in the Special
Program in the Arts, modular learning doesn’t fit to the curriculum that the SPA
have. SPA curriculum is an output based curriculum, for us to help our students
thoroughly understand we came up to this modifications to meet the standards
that we have in this curriculum despite of the pandemic.
14. This time of pandemic we need to move forward by not just facing
other people or attending professional trainings face to face instead
webinars through zoom, google meet and other online applications takes
place. It’s my part also to seek some training and workshop that could
help to develop and enhance my skills in teaching specifically in the
integration ICT in classroom instruction. I participated the year-end
and mid year in service training for teachers and on this March 2021 I
also participated the training about the Information and Communication
Technology services conducted by ICTS- EdTech . Through these
training and workshop, I could teach and could utilized ICT in
classroom instruction effectively.
16. The works and my experiences in this agency is really tough challenging. A
challenge on how to provide quality education during this time of plague, a
challenge on how to communicate with the students and also to my colleagues
without seeing them, a challenge on how to manage my time and works in skeletal
mode of working and a challenge also to my emotional and physical aspect in
adapting this kind of working modality.
These challenges really test my dedication in teaching and measures my
patience on how to manage my time. This happen for a reason and I believe that
this pandemic would end soon.
According to Mahatma Gandhi, unity to be real must stand the severest strain
without breaking. Therefore Unity and togetherness in our school is a vital
component for the betterment of everybody.
