The web app was developed to allow any supporter of the cause to sign the petition, simultaneously email notify their professors, and share with others through Facebook, Twitter, and Email. With a database of thousands of college and universities nationwide, and hundreds of thousand of professors address, a complex dynamic email and reporting system was created to provide customized emails delivered in the all-to-difficult domain of .edu mail servers. It immediately garnered 10’s pf thousands of petition signatures and 100’s of thousands of emails sent to decision makers, media impressions,  shares and follows through social media channels.

It works. Always. Some sites see 400% more signups. Why wouldn't’t you do something that makes it super easy for your users to sign-up?

  19. My trick: Put the Welcome Mat and Exit Intent on the content area – blog, video pages, etc. and add the Smart Bar to other areas of the site to either collect emails or send people to blog.

  21. Intercom allows site admins to send personal or automated messages to users via email, in-app messages, or push notifications. These can be triggered based on any event. One of the best segments that is tracked is “slipping away”. This is for sites with logged in users. They do have one feature Chat that will let you engage with non-logged in user. There are dozens of good Chat tools for Wordpress. Use them. You conversions will increase.
  22. These Messages can be send as pop-up windows in app. You can send these as drip messages to move them through the product, to tell them about new features, to allow them to chat and ask questions, to test new features, etc.
  23. You can send messages when the do, or do not take actions, where they live, what features they use or do not use…and my Favorite – to find your influencers. Send a message to your users with thee highest twitter following, and send them a message and Tweet at them. Offer a tshirts or something if they share.

  33. Embed The Embed Code Generator is stil working but no tbeen updated in a while. WP has oEmbed native, but not a good plugng. Embedly is free and easy and awesome, but you need to enter the URL, get the embed code, then manually post that code. Not bad at all.
