2. Pendap is a food made from fish. The type of fish
used can actually be anything, it doesn't have to be
freshwater fish or seawater fish. For how to make it is
also not difficult. The fish is washed and then seasoned
with spices such as garlic, kencur, chili, salt, and grated
young coconut. After the spices are smooth, then mixed
with the fish. Fish that has been coated with spices will
be wrapped in taro leaves and boiled until cooked.
The boiling process is carried out approximately up to
8 hours. The use of tasa leaves in pendap is intended
so that the fishy aroma of the fish disappears and is
replaced with the scent of the leaves. Pendap is
usually eaten with warm white rice.

that this one food is made from shark as the
main ingredient. Bagar Hiu use shark meat,
which is a horn shark. The cleaned shark meat
is then seasoned with chili and spices and
then cooked until cooked. Bagar shark is one
of Bengkulu special foods that was tasted by
the first president of Indonesia, Soekarno.

4. Rebung Asam Undak Liling are a kind of
food made from a mixture of two basic
ingredients, namely black snails and bamboo
shoots. To cook this dish, it takes quite a long
time because the bamboo shoots must be
soaked for several days until the sour taste of
the bamboo shoots can come out. Only after
that the bamboo shoots are seasoned with
various spices and cooked with black snails.
Black snails are very easy to get by the
Bengkulu people because black snails usually
live in rice fields.

5. Lontong tunjang is a combination of lontong
with vegetable sirama. This vegetable is
made from young jackfruit, green beans, and
sliced tunjang accompanied by gravel.
Lontong tunjang is very easy to find in the
Bengkulu area because this food can be
found anytime, especially in the morning.

6. Gulai kemba'ang is a food made from beef
ribs cooked with various spices. Kemba'ang
curry has a very distinctive taste with a quite
sharp spice aroma. This food is very delicious
when eaten with white rice.
