Preparing die for it involving holes of dia 2mm in OHNS material and machining
profile in the same material.

PROJECT
FIRST PASS YIELD IMPROVEMENT AND PROCESS OPTIMIZATION IN
GOVERNOR COVER ASSEMBLY.
Objective:
To study present status of the sub assembly process, this consists of the
following:
Developing a FMEA technique for current process.
Standardization of process.
Design a value stream mapping of the process.
Listing down the process/product resulting in rejections.
Analysis of same for change in dimensions/process deviation.
Reduce the rejection level of governor cover subassembly.
Cost optimization and change of design of components.
