2. Private Sector
• The private sector is mainly used to create profit and gain a
cliental.
• A business within the private sector will be owned by an
individual or a group of people.
• Some Examples of businesses in the private sector are;
Private and public limited companies, sole traders and
partnership.

3. Public Sector
• An organisation within the public sector will be controlled by
the government. There main objective is not to make a
profit but is to provide a service.
• For example, NHS is a national health service for the public,
Social Services is used to help the community through
housing and care and state schools and universities that is
funded through the government.
• As these organisations do not gain a profit they receive
funding through taxes, grants and loans.
