Today, I'd like to share some practical tips on how to
explode your MLM Business. These are helpful lessons
I have learned during the past 16+ years. Enjoy.

# 1 Don’t beg people to join your team
• You are looking for people who are open-minded and
looking. Yes, you need to always ask for the sale, but
don't spend much time trying to hard-sell or persuade
someone that what you have is a good deal. If they
can't see the vision, it's on them, not you!

# 2 Develop your business by design, not by chance
• Like any business, you need a written business plan
and marketing plan for your business. You can't wing it
and expect much good to happen.

# 3 Promote a weekly event
• We are an event-driven business. Whether it is a
conference call, webinar or live event, events are the
glue that keeps your business together. Promote
events like your business success depends on it.

# 4 You must lead, guide and direct your people
• Most new people need a TON of help, babysitting and
support. You must have a game-plan for your new
team members and tell them EXACTLY what to do
next. Also, keep in mind, you should only spend time
with your new people who are coachable and will do
what you ask them to do. About 90% of the people
you sponsor will not listen, do what you suggest or be
coachable. Let those people go and work with the
willing!

# 5 Leaders believe in their company, product, the
industry and themselves
• If you don't have ROCK SOLID belief in these four
things, you won't survive in the business. Attend
events, read books, work with a mentor, and stay in
the trenches if you want to build up your belief.

# 6 Most people are skeptical of EVERYTHING
• It's just human nature. Don't take it personal.

# 7 Don’t compare yourself with other people in
your company, or in the industry
• Everyone is on a different stage of their success
journey, so comparison is the kiss of death. If
anything, compare who you currently are with who
you are capable of becoming.

# 8 Master your emotions
• This business can be an emotional roller coaster filled
with high highs and low lows. If you don't learn to
master your emotions, you will be a train wreck and
end up quitting. Make sure you have realistic
expectations, be logical, and detach yourself from
what others say and do. Focus only on things that you
can control.

# 9 Building a successful business of ANY kind takes
time
• The average entrepreneur takes a year or two just to
break even or make a small profit and three to five
years to really get their business off the ground. This is
a business, not the lottery. Be sure you have realistic
expectations. Develop a vision, goals, a game-
plan, and stay the course. You will be glad that you
did!

• Your prospects will evaluate YOU more than they do
the business opportunity you share with them. Work
on your skills and attitude and be someone worth
joining.

people on your team will do more for recognition than
they will for money.
