1. My Journey
Born and raised right here in the Mid-Ohio Valley in Reno, and
graduating from Marietta High School, I am delighted to be back home
again. After high school and working in the law offices of William
(Bill) A. Fields and Paul G. Bertram, Jr., I headed off to college earning
degrees in Business Administration, Bible/Theology and Christian
Education.
While never regretting 25 great years spent working with college
students dedicated to service, it was time for a career change. Observing
graduates in careers and ministries worldwide with no means or plan
for their financial futures, and others retiring with nothing but “the
promise” of a Social Security check, I wanted to do something to make
a difference.
Being heavily recruited by two major insurance/financial companies and completing their training, I just could
not “sign-on” with either. Two philosophies prevailed that I could not accept: one--offer your clients primarily
the products that make you (the agent) the most commission; and two--everyone needs to diversity their hard-
earned nest egg into unsafe financial products, where they could lose either some or all of it!
Not being the kind of person who could sleep at night knowing a dime of my clients’ money could be at risk, I
soon thereafter learned about the awesome financial products I now am privileged to offer; from the most sound
companies that exist in our world today. It was a no-brainer and I’ve been doing it exuberantly ever since.
Having clientele from an array of professions (both still working and retired), who are thrilled with how we’ve
been able to protect and grow their resources, has been more rewarding than I could ever have imagined. What
I now anticipate, is the honor of sitting down with you to see how we can position your money, so it will sustain
you in the days ahead.
