From March 2020 to September 2021, over EUR 21.6 million was donated by philanthropic organizations in Serbia to address the COVID-19 pandemic. More than 46% of donations went towards purchasing supplies and consumables like masks, gloves, and disinfectants. Business sectors contributed the most as donors, accounting for 64.3% of donations. Over 80% of donated funds supported government institutions, with the primary beneficiaries being local communities and those with health issues.

From March 16, 2020, to September 30, 2021, a
total of EUR 21,688,071 was donated to eliminate
the harmful effects caused by the novel
coronavirus in Serbia.
