Chronic regional pain syndrome is a chronic systemic disease which is characterized by severe pain, swelling, and changes in
the skin. It is generally expected to worsen over time. Usually, it initially affects an arm or a leg and often spread throughout the
body. Some of the recent research has led to the conclusion that Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome is a multifactorial disorder.
The disorder occurs with some clinical features such as:
Neurogenic inflammation,
Nociceptive sensitization,
vasomotor dysfunction and
maladaptive neuroplasticity

neuromodulation, etc.
