About Ismo
● Ismo Holtto born in 1940 was a finnish
photography documenter known for his
monochrome portriaits of Romo people and
others living in the countryside and cities of
Finland during the 60's.
● This picture was taken in the mid 1960's in a
small Finland village where young children
often use to play.
● Ismo usually took pictures of children and old
men here are a few popular pieces of his work.
● I find his work really interesting and I think he
really manages to capture the persons emotion
and mood in each picture. Because the pictures
were taken when editing software didnt really
exist they are all just black and white unedited
pictures but they are still good which proves tha
t you dont need editing soft ware to create good
photography.
