2. Song and Genre
■ The song that I will be choosing for my music video will be “Angelica by Slaves”
this song has newly found itself to my favourites in terms of songs.
■ I have decided that this music video will be more on the abstract showing a
story from the visuals of the music video, therefore I will not be having any lip
synching in this video, however I may consider it in some parts of the video if
needed.
■ Slaves the band is an indie rock genre which has an element of grunge in their
songs which make it sound better than other indie rock songs, the songs
Slaves make are certainly heavier in the instruments.

3. Plotline
■ The plot line of the music video will be a story of this ordinary looking girl who has a
few friends in person but very social through the internet, this girl only has a life
through the internet. And the story begins when one of her few friends that she has,
tries to snap the girl out of her social media bubble.
■ however the twist is that this social media bubble she is contained in is somehow
contagious and can spread to who, that tries to stop her.
■ To convey this text into visual art.The way I will achieve this will be that the girl
changes into a supernatural being when disturbed, changing the setting of where they
are and taking over the body who is trying to burst the bubble she is in (social media
bubble)

4. Storyboard
■ in the first scene of the story board it will have a
transition cut from the last story board and will have a
close up on angelica walking down the street looking
normal, but looking down because she is on the
phone.
■ on the second scene of the story board it will have
angelica turn into a monster when the lyrics say "shes
a blood sucker" i would like to achieve a flicker cuts in
between the two shots showing that she is a monster
inside her, in this scene i will have it filmed in the night
so there will be contrast when the video flickers. this
video flicker will carry every time in the first chorus
when the artist say "shes a blood sucker"
■ the next frame of the story board will be zoomed out
and do the same thing as the other scene but the man
will walk in front of her trying to get her attention and
get her away from her phone then on the last line of
the chorus will be the girl sucking the mans blood.

5. Storyboard
■
in this story board it will show the first few seconds of the
song where artist will say "1234" in the song and with it the
video will jump cut to the next in each number the first
fame in the story board will be a close up of the girl
"angelica" then zoom out to show the audience she will be
going on her phone, the next 3 frames of the story board
will tell the audiences that she is always on her phone,
when doing her make up, eating breakfast and even
leaving the door, her face stuck on the phone.
■ this part of the story board shows that the girl while in a
restaurant ( on a date the guy has planned for her ) and
shows that the girl will be stuck inside her imaginary social
media bubble, showing that the guy gets very frustrated
and storms out, ( the guy storms out when Isaac the co
singer says "solo" )

6. Storyboard
■ here the story board carries on from the last post when
the the co singer Isaac Say "solo"
in the scenes it will show a tracking shot of the guy
storming out in anger of what she has done to him,
treating him as a nobody, he's frustrated and fed up
but as he storms out he becomes weak and goes on his
phone, leading to him becoming a monster too. he
struggles turning into the monster, tumbling on the
ground and through the last chorus, which they once
meet again, with both of them on their phone on the
last chorus.
■ here it shows the last bit of the story board of when
the guy with the girl both on their phones walking on
the same street as they was before but in these scenes
it will include them changing into monsters on the
beat, this will give a good effect that the guy has fully
changed into one of her.

7. Location and casting
■ the location of my music video are still undecided but I have a good idea of how I
would like the scenes to be shot, they will most likely be small streets with little
civilisation, a restaurant, and a made up party so far, I may change these locations for
visual effects,
■ The cast of my music video is also on a hold as I have not found anyone who is willing
to do my video for me, but there will be two main roles of the video, and also some
extras that will be needed for some scenes.
