Setting The setting is in the present as you can hear present cars being used, also it has
present house music being played in the background making the mood quite
exciting and giving you adrenaline.
I think that the production techniques used for
this cut scene is possibly a sound booth; pitch
adjustment to create the sounds off the cars
engines and drifting.
Mood At the beginning there is the sound of music making the mood quite exciting then
you can hear the sounds of car engines at 1:12and you can also hear the sounds of
the cars drifting keeping the mood the same.
I think audio editing software has been used to
adjust to the pitch and volume and an ambient
microphone at 1:13 there is the sound of car
engines and at 1:45 the sound off cars drifting.
Game genre Sport/Racing/Simulation, The game genre sounds like it’s an sport/racing game
because you can hear cars racing and drifting around.
The sound is clear and a quality ambient
microphone was used for the sounds off the car
engines and drifting as they come across crisp and
clear.
Narrative The narrative off this scene is cars racing around a track. How the music conveys the
aftermath (Background Music) the music details the feeling of chase and racing
giving you an adrenaline feeling.
The techniques off the music I think are that they
use a sound programme to use the pitch
adjustment on the music in the background so it’s
loud and you can hear the car engines.
