Off hauling excess material in order to maintain the
correct grade of the road
Compaction of CIR
• Minimum Compaction requirement of 98%
• We achieved compaction utilizing two 12 Ton steel drum
vibratory rollers
• A 25 Ton pneumatic roller is used to prepare the roadway for
traffic
Compacted section ready for Traffic
Apply Fog Seal (SS1 50/50) and Sanding
prior to opening the lane to traffic

• Gauge Measurements
• 3 per 250 tons or 3 per paving day,
whichever is greater
